ECP Escapade

Yesterday, Daddy & Mummy brought me to East Coast Park to jalan-jalan. I haven't been there before, so I was so excited and so ready to see a brand new place.

But along the way, I fell asleep in the car...

So when I woke up and took my first picture by the beach, I looked a bit grumpy lah...hee.


Gradually I warmed up and started to take in the sights and sounds.


There were so many people there on a Sunday morning! There were people roller-blading, cycling, walking with dogs, etc...and people camping over at the park too!


So I basically just nuah-ed in my pram under the morning sun; which isn't too bad 'cos it's a lazy sunday morning anyway. Heh.

After a while, I got bored. Really bored.

So I chewed on my aeroplane toy.

Which tasted kind of nice.


And after that, I got bored. Again.

And I got grumpy. Again.


So Mummy had to carry me to pacify me. :P

All hail King Ash! Muahahahahaha.....


Soon it was time to go home. Not a bad experience overall, though I guess I became a bit cranky towards the end...Hee hee. But what to do, a baby needs his sleep mah.

On reaching home, nothing beats having a nice warm bath after a sweaty morning!


Then it's time to orh-orh already....nite nite everyone!!!

IT'S SOLID FOODS TIME!

Yep, THE day has finally arrived. I'm getting my first taste of solid foods! ooh...I can't wait...

My kiasu Mummy had long ago bought these sets of cutlery in anticipation of my big day. Hee. In case you are wondering, 1 set is for home, 1 set for my Grandma's home. :P

The cereal taste yummy! It's different compared to what I've been drinking the past 4+ months. But I like it! Heh. I think Mummy was worried that I wouldn't like it, or that I'll spit it out at first... Haha, but no worries man... I think I can eat anything, just like Daddy! :)

And all these while, me think Baileys very 'gian' my food too leh...So I better pretend I never see him....better just look at camera. *CHEEZE*

Before I knew it, I've already finished 2 whole teaspoons of cereal (usually the first feed should be 1 teaspoon) because my appetite is good! Mummy & Daddy are pleased! :)

So no choice, no more food means must clean mouth liao...


A full baby IS a HAPPY baby!

Actually, Daddy & Mummy also brought me to East Coast Park today but my little fingers are tired already, so gotta type the ECP escapade tomorrow! :)

Speaking of which, my Aunty Karen (Daddy's sister) brought me to a shopping centre yesterday for a walk. I enjoyed it! But after we reached home, when Grandma wanted to carry me, I cried! Heh heh... So when Aunty Karen carried me again, I stopped crying liao. So notti right??? :P

It was taken in March, when I was coming to 3 months old, which seemed like a long time ago. BUT that's not the point.

So far, there has been quite a few strangers who commented (usually in a high shrill voice), "Wah, sooo pretty!!!" Then, they always follow up with this question - "GIRL AH?"

Liverpool.....Kings of Europe!

In case you didn't know by now, Liverpool (my sources tell me it's a football club) has won the Champions League this morning!

I was still fast asleep when that happened. *yawn* But my hyper Daddy was so happy that he was jumping up & down around the house! Pengz... He's a Liverpool supporter by the way, since when he was a young boy. So that probably explains the highly emotional response. haha... And he couldn't get back to sleep after the match, cos he was too delirious!

Well, as long as I can't have an opinion of my own yet, I guess I've to support Liverpool too. Not that I mind lah, judging from my face... GO REDS! hee.

Day of Fun!

It's a public holiday today! So that means Daddy & Mummy are at home to accompany me...Yippee! :)

See how happy I am? hee hee.


Began the day by working out at my play gym, at my fave play corner.



I really enjoy tugging at all the mobiles; especially when I can put them all in my mouth! Hahaha.... So very yummy!

Then in the evening, Daddy & Mummy brought me to our park downstairs for a walk, together with Baileys. So many people were flying kites in the open fields, with families having picnics on the grass fields. I'll ask Daddy to take some pictures next time, yah? :)

Baileys was having a wonderful time too, scuttling here and there. Me think he's too deprived, being cooped up in the house for too long. heh heh...

Can't wait for the next public holiday...but I heard the next one is in Aug...

Darkie Boy

Quite a number of people have commented that I look very dark for a baby; that I don't fit into the mould of a 'bai-bai' baby. Haha... 'bai-bai' baby then can be kawaii meh?? :P

my.Bumbo

Since I'm able to support my own neck now, I'm finally able to sit in my Bumbo chair! Basically, it's an infant chair that allows me to sit up all by myself! Very very nice.... :)

Now Mummy & Daddy can just plop me down into the chair and leave me to watch TV on my own... hee hee.... Or maybe I could have my solid foods in the chair too. Hmm...speaking of which, I wonder when that time will come. (Mummy's Note: Akan datang lah. Perhaps next Month. :P)

Angel in the Waters

I'm always in a fabulous mood when I get enough sleep...Zippee dee doo da.....

Anyway, here's a nice little online story book that both Mummy and I like! :)
It's called Angel in the Waters.

It's a story of a child in its mother's womb, who grows, explores the waters, and talks with the angel who's also there. It tells of the story in pictorial form of a child's small but momentous journey from life to the first moments of birth.

Let me model my new tops for all! Daddy bought them when I was one month old. Obviously, I cannot wear them till now. Handsome or not? Wore them for lunch with grandparents at Plaza Park Royal and for a wedding dinner.... hehe...
