Toys...for me?

3 comments :
Today got 'Toys 'R' Us warehouse sale.

HEE HEE HEE...

So look what I've got. :P

Don't get me wrong, I never ask Daddy to buy one lah. He bought them out of his own free will...hahaha... But Daddy said the prices are much lower than normal prices. For example, the Leapfrog Learning Hoops one costs about S$70 normally, but it was S$40 at the sale. Heh...not bad hor?

I overheard Daddy telling Mummy he spent about $120 on all the toys; not bad lah...considering all the toys are educational ones...

By the way, if you are interested in the Toys 'R' Us warehouse sale, it's at Toa Payoh Safra and it'll end this coming Monday (3rd Oct). Happy shopping! Hee... :)

Babies Are Gross

No comments :
Mummy came across this song on the web and she thought it sounds pretty nice and meaningful. Hee hee...

BABIES ARE GROSS (yep, that's the title of the song)

Words and music by
Sue Wood

Don't play with babies, cause babies are gross.
They spit out their food, and suck on their toes.
Don't play with babies, cause babies are gross.
They always have something, running out of their nose.

Don't play with babies, cause babies are gross.
They put sand in their mouths, and stains on their clothes.
If there's a baby at your house, you'll know what I mean.
The best reason to stay single, that I've ever seen.

But babies can cuddle, and give you a kiss.
The love of a baby, should never be missed.
Remember you were one, a long time ago.
That somebody loved you, and helped you to grow.

I play with babies, cause babies are gross.
They teach me a lot, and get food on my clothes.
I play with babies, cause babies are gross.
I love to hug them, and hold them close.

You can hear the song at this website. Click on 'Sample Song'.

But with such a smiley face like mine, how can be gross??? HEE HEE HEE... :)

*THUD*

3 comments :
Did something for the very first time in my life yesterday night.

I ROLLED OVER AND FELL OFF THE BED.

OUCH!
OUCH!
OUCH!

Lucky for me, the bed has a small suede-covered platform to break my fall...by a bit. Needless to say, I woke up startled and wailed my lungs out. Poor Daddy & Mummy were kena jolted out of their sleep...and sprang to action...to rescue the crying baby. Hee.

Actually there was a big pillow beside me to prevent me from rolling down. But somehow, I managed to kick that down. And I promptly followed the pillow down as well. Haiz...

Anyway, heng I didn't suffered any bruises or bumps...if not will be jialat man, not handsome liao. HAHAHAHA...juz kidding. Daddy just had to carry me for a while before I drifted off to sleep again. Heh heh...

And today, I'm back to my cheerful...AND active self once again...
I get knocked down...but I get up again...you'll never gonna keep me down...
:p

Anyway...pictures pictures pictures!

On a happier note, Daddy & Mummy went to a German restaurant for lunch yesterday and I took some pictures...just for fun. :)

Hee hee...I sure look teeny weeny behind the board...Mummy had to hoist me up really high so that my face can be seen. Hahaha...

Forgot to post this photo of me on the shopping trolley...

Like trying to act cool hor??? HAHAHA...
BUT actually I'm quite afraid to sit up there all by myself lah...see how tightly I'm grabbing the trolley with both my hands? Heh...

Photoshoot

1 comment :

Went for a photoshoot for some baby of the month contest yesterday. Daddy & Mummy thought it would be nice for me to get some exposure; just to see how I would react in front of the camera. :P

The shoot went very well I must say. Hee hee... I just sat there, against a white backdrop and smiled & laughed whenever Daddy made some funny sounds. The whole time the photographer was clicking away, I was just sitting at my spot obediently and looking at the camera. Which prompted the photographer to comment that I was so easy to photograph! Somemore so easy to laugh...Hahaha...Can't wait to see the photos next week! :)

Yep, I wore these set of clothes for my shoot yesterday... shuai or not? Heh.

Amazingly, I only slept for 1 hour in the daytime yesterday...and I was still in a fabulous mood!

After lunch, Daddy & Mummy brought me to Toys'R'Us to jalan-jalan.

See? I can sit in the shopping trolley on my own liao. Daddy & Mummy are so relieved that they can give their arms a rest...IF I don't cry that is. Hur hur hur...

And I also got myself a pair of new shoes too! Adidas shoes leh...

Nice or not? I love it very much! :)

Ok, can't blog already. Gotta go dress myself up 'cos I'll going for my first photoshoot for some baby contest later...so exciting!

Happy Birthday Pappy!!

No comments :
Hi Baby,

It’s daddy’s birthday today. Pity, you’re too young to know how to say “Happy Birthday, Daddy!”. Ok, this year mummy will do up the pressie for you, by telling daddy on your behalf how blessed you are to have a pappy like him. Next year, you’ve got to be the one to give him a big big wet kiss :)

When you are a newborn, pappy took the effort to bath you every single day, though you were so small and fragile. Pappy, with his big, strong hands, scooped you up and slowly bathed your head, hair and body. Then, carefully dressed you up. Boy, mummy was impressed that someone so big could do that… hehe! I looked at him in a different light after which….

When you turned 2 and 3 months, you were such a “spolit brat”, always wanting to be carried to sleep, if not you’ll start wailing. Though pappy is normally quite impatient, he was really patient when carrying and rocking you to sleep. He carries you, walking about the house, till you fall soundly asleep. Baby, I think you were sent to train pappy patience :P

Pappy is also the laundryman of the house. He would without any complains do the washing for the family. Yeap, I know, we’ve got the washing machine but doing the washing still takes effort, with the hanging the clothes to dry, folding them and putting it into the cupboard. When you popped out, the laundry load increased so much more because pappy never stinged on the washing. Once slightly dirty, pappy will say “wash”. He didn’t want you wearing any dirty wear. Now, pappy has even tried to iron the clothes…though not rod straight, but still a good effort nonetheless :)

Pappy also fetches you from grandma’s house everyday, without fail. It must be quite tiring, driving 70km everyday, but he doesn’t mind, just so that we may spend a little more time with you each day.

He is also your dresser. He would go all bonkers everytime he steps into FOX. He moves around really fast and starts holding up clothes and imagining you in them. Before we know it, he is off to pay for it. He’s got a really weird logic that $20 is expensive for adult wear but reasonable for baby’s wear. Same logic applies to toys as well, it seems *confused*

Now at 8 months, you are beginning to show a preference for pappy when it comes to play. You seem to know that pappy stands for fun while mummy is for comfort. Every evening when we step into grandma’s house, your legs and arms will start failing about and you would break into a big grin when you see pappy. You must love him lots!

Just the other day, pappy scolded you and you know what you did, you hanged down your head and didn’t dare look at him. Then, you slowly inched your fingers towards hjs face and caressed him, as if to say "sorry". So adorable!

There are so many things I can tell you about daddy… I’m sure when you grow up, you’ll realize what a great daddy you have! In the meantime, mummy will help you wish daddy a “Happy Birthday!”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

My tricycle

1 comment :
I have got my very own tricycle! Courtesy of my Ah Kong & Ah Ma, my maternal grandparents... :)

I know I can't cycle on my own yet...but it's still fun with someone pushing you along! Hahaha... It's really colourful, and comes with loud blaring music as well...I like... :p

Pictures taken a bit blur hor? 'Cos Daddy didn't bring along his digicam with him, so had to make do with his handphone camera lor...

Ah Kong & Ah Ma said that I can't take home the tricycle with me. I must leave it at their place. Why? They said so that I will look forward to going over to their place wor...hee hee...

Me like the photo below a lot...hahaha...

That's my jor-jor (or great-grandfather) and it machiam looks like we are facing off at a boxing ring...HAHAHAHAHA.... :)

Standing up

No comments :
Ever since my playpen was lowered, I can stand up in my playpen by grabbing onto the sides. I like it better this way, so that I can see what's going on and more importantly, what Daddy & Mummy are doing. Hee hee...

In fact, I'm able to cruise a bit along the sides of the playpen; though I'm still pretty slow at it. :p

But of course, sometimes my arms do get tired from all the holding and I find myself falling face down into my pile of toys below. *OUCH*

Rollerboy

No comments :
Got an inflatable roller, which is supposed to aid me in crawling. Well...apparently it's not working yet...hahaha...

I think it's because it's a bit too big for me...so I can't really lie on it on my tummy without losing my balance. It's almost as tall as me leh...

Maybe I just roll it to and fro...and treat it as a toy lah... :P

Or I can use it as a gigantic telescope....
Yoo hoo! Can you all see me? :)

Tried to cut my hair but...

No comments :
Yesterday, Daddy & Mummy wanted to bring me out for my first haircut. So we went to Parkway Parade to this hair salon for kids. Wah...but one haircut costs $16 wor! Not say I have lots of hair to begin with...hahaha...

So in the end, cheapskates Daddy & Mummy decided to DIY at a later date; or maybe I'll ask Grandma to bring me along when she visits her hair salon. Hee...

With dreams of getting a 1st haircut going up in smoke, we ended up at Sakae Sushi for a quick meal...where I can eat my baby biscuit too! :)

Heh heh...buay tahan...I'm such a poser hor?
:p

I'm in a pretty good mood, considering I didn't sleep much prior to going out. I think it's all because I have my baby biscuit to keep me company.

So here's me, trying to make small talk with the biscuit...
hee...

Mummy's fave picture of the day...
'Cos she says can see my 2 bottom teeth.

Punggol Mummies Unite!

6 comments :
Today, I made 3 new friends!
And ALL of them are GIRLS!!! Woo Hoo!!! :)

Allow me to make the introduction:
From left...Baby Jolene, Baby Chloe & Baby Ainsley. :)

All of them came to my home and we had a great time together; playing with toys and crawling over one another. Hee hee...Think Mummy also enjoyed herself too; with all the mummies indulging in...well, mummy talk.

Mummy thinks I like mei-mei Ainsley the best, 'cos I tried to stroke her face and hold her hand...hahaha...so shy.... but she bo-hiu me leh. -_-

Anyway, it was really a fun get-together. We should do this again sometime! :)

'Sunken' Playpen

1 comment :
Ever since I found out about the joys of standing up, I've been wanting to pull myself up. Always.

Even when I'm in my playpen, I try to grab hold of the sides to pull myself up. Which of course might lead to dire consequences, said Daddy & Mummy.

So to prevent me from flipping over and falling out of the playpen, Daddy & Mummy had lowered the playpen sitting area, so that I can be alone in a confined space.

So sian right? Machiam like a caged animal like that...haiz...

Initially, I was still okay with it...but after a while, I was begging (actually, more like crying) to be let out... :P

I love to stand!

No comments :
OOPS!

Me think my powerful flu virus has successfully migrated to Daddy & Mummy...they are both slightly sick yesterday. :(

But at least they are feeling better now...phew!

On a happier note, Daddy & Mummy have noticed I love to stand nowadays. Even when I'm lying or sitting down, I'll try ways and means to pull myself up to standing position by holding onto something.

So Daddy & Mummy bought me this standing activity play-table for my enjoyment! (Actually hor, Daddy & Mummy got some shopping centre voucher lah...so they just 'conveniently' got it for me lor...haha...)

Here's me & my activity play-table; with Baileys looking on enviously... :P

Yep, I sure love to stand up and play with my table. :)
