Waking up & Standing up

No comments :
Nowadays, I seem to be waking up early...way TOO early in fact according to Daddy & Mummy. Actually, I think it's because it deprives them of their sleep lah...HAHAHA. Sometimes, I wake up at 5.40am (!!!) but mostly, I open my eyes at about 6-ish in the early morning.

I also dunno how come I wake up so early leh...maybe it's because Daddy & Mummy always leaves the house at about 6.50am to send me to Grandma's place in the weekdays. I overheard Mummy telling Daddy that maybe if they pretend to be still asleep, I'll drift off to sleep too. HAHAHAHA...they wait long long ah... :P

I'm able to stand up on my own much longer liao. In fact, I love to grab whatever object is in front of me and use it to pull myself up. Which understandably is causing panic among the adults...hee hee... 'cos for example, I love to pull the standing fan towards me so that I can stand up. I know what you are saying lah, the fan confirm drop on me one. Grandma say before already...but I haven't study physics yet mah, so I don't know lor... Heh.

And when I'm standing upright, I don't like anyone to keep holding on to me. I'll try to shake away the adult's hand because I want to stand on my own. So garang hor? I also think so leh. :) But usually, I can only last standing unassisted for about 15 seconds lah. BUT I'm trying to better my personal best! Hee...

Kukup

1 comment :
Daddy, Mummy and I went to Kukup yesterday for a 1 night stay, together with Kong-kong & Por-por (Mummy's side one).

At first, I though Kukup was in Singapore...hahaha... Yah lah yah lah, so suaku right? :P

It was only when I saw Tuas checkpoint that Kong-kong told me Kukup is in Pontian, Johor; which is in Malaysia lah. That can only mean one thing: another stamp in my passport! Woohoo! :)

After a relatively short drive, we reached this little quiet fishing village. Most of the houses are built on stilts; like those at a kelong. And the chalet place we stayed in was pretty nice; unlike the one which Daddy & Mummy stayed in when they were there in 2001.

Well, the room was clean; I have my own toilet; room got aircon; got TV to watch...all for RM88 per room per night! Cheap hor?!?!? I heard you can even have your own BBQ near the sea and play this game that combines mathematics, shapes and strategic thinking called mahjong too ah...

The view from top of the chalet was pretty beautiful. It was relaxing to just stand there and let the breeze blow on your face...

But the wind got pretty strong after a while...hee hee...

Me think you can only stay in Kukup for ONE night...max. Heh heh...'Cos there really aren't really much things to do there; except to eat, relax....well, eat again and again. Or unless if you like to fish lah...but I don't fish you see, 'cos I think the fishes will be bigger than me ah...so I takut lah...hahaha...

But we did go out to sea on a boat to visit a mangrove nature reserve area and a fish farm. I think I enjoyed the boat ride the best lah...'cos I love to see the scenery go by...and also the wind blowing on my face...

The fish farm was pretty nice...you get to see different types of fishes being caught and reared there. Now I know how my fish in my porridge I eat everyday ends up in Grandma's pot liao...heh.

It was quite a good short getaway trip overall. And I ended up with pinkish arms and cheeks, all thanks to Mr. Sun. Gee, It didn't really felt that hot under the sun...Oh well, at least I got a tan! Heard the chicks dig that... :p

Daddy & Mummy's fave picture of the day: Kong-kong & me enjoying the morning sunrise (Daddy's note: because Ashton woke up at freaking 6.28am on a SUNDAY morning. *PENGZ*).

Roll here...roll there...

3 comments :
...rolling everywhere on my new playmat!

Daddy & Mummy had gotten this really huge playmat for me. 'Cos apparently the 'ABC' foam mats are quite toxic in the long run due to the various chemicals used. Haiz... Actually I was beginning to like them liao...

But I reckon the real reason is because Daddy & Mummy will find it easier to clean the whole mat, compared to the 'ABC' foam mats where they will have to take out piece by piece to clean. More leceh hor? Anyway, also not I clean one. Hahaha...

Think the mat is from Korea bah...dunno where that is lah... Saw this LG logo on the mat as well, think it stands for Lagi Good! Hee...

So anyway, this big playmat is pretty...erm...big. :P And it's also very colourful too! One side has cartoons of various animals and a measuring chart to take my height. Speaking of which, I grew longer! Err...salah, should be taller! Hahaha...

You can also flip the mat over the other side, where it is a downtown map with roads and houses.

Daddy says next time he'll buy me toy cars and other toy vehicles, so that I can play with them on my mat. Yippee! But I want to tell him, "Why wait? Can buy now liao lah!" Heh heh...

The zoo...con't

2 comments :
I was still sleeping when the adults came to this big wading pool for kids. So guess what they did? They woke me up from my blissful sleep! Lucky for them I like to play with water, so I didn't mind being woken from my dreams. :)

The pool was really nice and big, with slides and all in the middle of the pool. BUT there was a teeny weeny bit of problem...I didn't bring my swim diaper! But fear not, my ever resourceful Mummy simply just stripped away my shorts and dipped me into the pool, while I'm still in my diapers. Heng I did not had the urge to poo-poo in the pool. Hahaha...

Since I don't know how to swim yet, Mummy let me sit on the edge of the pool, to let me play with the water. I was just minding my own business when this small little Caucasian girl came up to me to chat me up! HEE HEE HEE... And not only that, she also offered to let me play with her toy dinosaur. Wah...must be my handsome face lah... Daddy says I babe magnet leh... But he also says I cannot be like Ashton Kutcher next time hor; only like older women. HAHAHA... :P

See the little kor-kor also standing beside us in the photo above? He and other boys wanted to play with her toy dinosaur too. But she bochup them you know...she only let me play with it leh. Heh heh...

See? He still standing there and waiting...and waiting...

I had fun with my girlfriend-of-the-day. She was telling me stories with the toy dino, and also chatting with me at the same time. She's pretty fun to be with; guess I'll just add her name in my phonebook then. :)

Her and me, spending a nice quiet moment together...Hee. So lomantic hor...

Haiz...soon it was time to say goodbye to her. But nevermind lah, as a Chinese saying goes, "Old one don't go away, new one wouldn't come wan". Heh heh heh...

Needless to say, I was in a fantastic mood after that...although my T-shirt got pretty wet...

But lucky thing Mummy had foresight to pack another set of clothes in my bag. So I had a new set of dry, warm and comfy clothes to wear. Only paiseh thing was that she decided to change me there! *blush*

Once I was nice and dry, we continued with our zoo outing. As we walked on, I spied a little swing at the playground. Since I haven't gone on a swing before, the adults decided to let me try it...to see if I would cry or not. (So sadistic right???)

Well, sorry to disappoint them...but I thoroughly enjoyed myself on the swing! Hee hee... It was really fun! Mummy was initially afraid that I would cry when the swing was moving...but no sweat man! I just wanted it to go higher!!! :p

Aunt Maddy went bonkers with her camera while I was on the swing. She took more than 30 shots of me swinging to and fro. Initially, I wasn't smiling for the cam so Mummy told Aunt Mala & Aunt Maddy I'll laugh at funny faces. So they started making these horrendous faces in my face...but I still never laugh leh! Hahaha....make them so paiseh only ah... hee.

It was only after I warmed up to the swing that I started to smile and pose for the camera. Hiak hiak hiak... The 2 shots below were the ones which became the faves of everyone there. :)

And this one...

Wah, all these playing had made me...and the adults hungry. And I felt lagi hungrier after seeing this...

Hahaha...looks so yummy! But in the end, I had to settle for my Banana Oatmeal cereal; while the adults get to enjoy their fatty food. :p

And of course, I've to obliged the adults with the usual photo-taking as well. Makes me feel I'm part of the zoo exhibits leh...heh.

I don't understand why adults like to put me on top of their shoulders to take photos. It always tempts me to pull their hair! Hahahaha.... Oh well, as long as it makes me happy, I guess I can't complain.

Soon, it was the dreaded time to go home. Haiz...

But it had been a fun outing! Got to see animals, play with water & swing...not to mention a new girlfriend too! Heh heh heh... I've got to come back again!

Bye bye, zoo! Hope to see you again really soon! :)

The zoo

No comments :
Yesterday was my first visit to the ZOO! Daddy & Mummy had told me lots of things about the zoo and I was so excited to go there and see all the animals for myself. Mummy and I went with Aunt Maddy and Aunt Mala; Daddy didn't go with us 'cos he got work to do. :(

Nevermind lah, Daddy, I go once already lao-jiao liao, next time I can go with you and tell you about the exhibits there. Hee hee...

Before we went for our excursion, Aunt Maddy gave this 'little devil' headband (plus a T-shirt) to me.

Aiyoh eh, make my head so itchy only... But for the sake of entertainment and the camera, I agreed to wear it lor...so that these moments can captured digitally...haiz... See the sacrifices I make for the amusement of adults? :P

But I must say I look quite cute hor? HAHAHA...

Soon, we were off to the zoo! Yippee!

Finally reached!

But the adults wanted me to wear my headband IN THE ZOO. PIANGZ! So malu leh! So I secretly took it off when they were busy taking their stuff from the car...hee hee hee...

And so begins my zoo adventure, with my trusted personal bodyguard in tow. Hahaha... :)

Wah...the zoo is a really nice place! Got so many animals...some 4 legs one, some 2 legs one... But I don't know most of the animals' names now leh...so can only show you the pictures... paiseh ah. :P

AHH! I know this one!!! He's called AH MENG. I remember because Daddy's dialect name also got one 'meng' word one... Maybe I'll call him Daddy Ah Meng next time. HAHAHAHA... Ehh... Cannot lah... if he besar orangutan, then means I kecil orangutan lah... Eee, I dowan I dowan...

Think Ah Meng found some lice in Mummy's hair; so he's busy taking them out for her. Hee hee hee...

Fwah, all these sightseeing has got me so excited. I was really in a good mood and smiling most of the time. Yes yes, I know it's not that difficult to make me smile lah; just whip out a camera can liao... heh.

See animals also can get boring after a while; especially for such a hyper kid like me. :p So I was pleasantly surprised to find a playground! YAY! Aunt Mala (aka PBG or Personal BodyGuard) was tasked to put me on this roller slide. It was pretty alright but as you can see from the pictures, I wasn't too impressed with it. Hee...

Next up, a place filled with colourful balls. When Mummy put me down into the sea of balls, I was pretty shocked and had that 'shocked' look throughout the time I was in there as you can see from the photos below. Hahaha... I also don't know why leh... Maybe it's because I'm afraid I'll drown in there.

I was planning to 'kope' a green ball home you know. Yep, the one that I'm holding in my hands below. But Mummy took it from me and threw it back into the playarea although I was protesting that I was bringing it back as a souvenir for Daddy. Honest! :P

All these activities finally took a toll on me and when I reached the chimpanzee enclosure, I was fast asleep liao... Hee...

SNORE!!!
Oops, zao geng!

*YAWN*
Speaking of sleep, I've to go and koon too. My short stubby fingers are getting tired from all the typing liao. Will continue with the rest of my zoo adventure tomorrow.

Find out what happens when I'm picked up by an older girl (yea, quite chio lah) in the zoo! By an ang moh girl somemore ah! Hee hee... And also what happens when I go for my first ride in a swing. See ya people tomorrow! :)
