Montage Madness

No comments :
Daddy went bonkers with his cam when we had our lunch at Coffee Club last week. And here's the result. :)

As usual, I had to make do with my own Gerber puffs (my fave flavour is the strawberry-apple one by the way) and the occasional bread crumbs from Mummy.

But at least I had the waiters and waitresses to keep me company. I think I not paiseh wan, anybody also can play with me. Hahaha... so there I was, smiling and laughing at them whenever they make funny faces at me. But these adults kind of funny also lah, make funny faces 1 time or 2 times I still will smile lah. But too many times of course I don't find it funny liao mah... *roll eyes* :P

Daddy reckons that instead of us having to pay for the 10% sevice charge at the restaurant, they'll have to pay me instead! Since I kept the people there entertained and made them happy... HAHAHA...

My great-grandmother's funeral was held over the weekend; so Daddy & Mummy were both too tired out from the proceedings. My usual sleep routine was interrupted too; so that too tired Daddy & Mummy out 'cos I was still super hyper at midnight! :p

Will post some overdue photos in the next few days...stay tuned! (My above photo handsome or not??? Hee hee... Quite yan dao hor? HAHAHA...yes, me not paiseh :p)

Farewell

No comments :
My great-grandmother (Daddy's paternal Grandma) has passed away peacefully today.

Below is a photo I had taken with her and my great-grandfather (who has passed away this April) during Chinese New Year this year.

She has always loved to carry me in her arms ever since I was a newborn; and she'll always go 'jin swee ah' whenever she sees me.

I will miss her.
And so will Daddy & Mummy.

One Dancing Baby

No comments :
I have found a new love.

Dancing.

Hee hee... Nowadays, whenever I hear music, I'll thrust rock my hips back and forth to the rythmn of the music. Usually, I'll do my dancing standing up or kneeling down. And my arms will go flapping about, like a birdie. Yes yes yes, I know...if you visualize it, it sure looks funny. But hey, it's the only dance move I know now...til Daddy teaches me some of his techno ah beng or mambo retro killer dance moves. HAHAHAHA...

Too bad I don't have any videos to show you, 'cos everytime when Daddy wants to film me, I stop dancing liao. Heh heh...machiam like the Kit Kat advertisement. :) But I promise to be more cooperative next time okie? So that you all can see the video and laugh at me...

I know you all confirm laugh wan...'cos that's what the adults do when I start to dance. Very funny meh??? Here I am, working out my body to the music and providing some form of entertainment, and what do the adults do? Laugh at me only... Sheesh...
:P

But I very guai one, just did what I was told. :p Later, I overheard her telling Daddy that I'll get a big fat angpow if these 4 numbers come out somewhere lah...I also don't know come out from where leh. Don't care lah, as long as can get new toys I happy liao...hee hee...

Me & my tai-por... :)

Mr. X

2 comments :
I love my new X'mas tree!
:)))

It's so colourful, don't ya think? And it's so bright too, with all the blinky lights going on and off.

I love it, I love it, I love it!

Do you know I can just sit in front of Mr. X and stare at it for quite a long time? Hee hee...

Me think this must have pleased Daddy & Mummy the most, 'cos this means that they don't have to play with me ALL the time. :p

Ooh...what are those colourful objects that's dangling on the tree??? They are so shiny! I just can't take my eyes off them, not even when Daddy was going crazy, pulling out his hair while asking me to look at the camera. HAHAHA... Yep, I simply bochup. Heh.

After some coaxing, I finally looked in the direction of the cam to Daddy's relief. Hee hee... But of course, not forgetting my little red ball that I had caught. :)

YAH LAH! I know my romper is super duper kuniang!!! This explains my chao-bin look. Not my fault okay??? I told Daddy & Mummy liao, but they were too lazy to change me into something more macho-looking. HMPH! Spoil my image only ah...

Then without warning, Mr. X got really naughty and started pricking the back of my head with his spiky leaves. So itchy! Heng I siam fast fast ah...

There's this BIG X'mas tree at West Mall too. I think it must be the height of tiny me multiplied by a million! Hahaha... Anyway, Grandpa brings me over to look at it nearly everyday. Nope, I'm still not bored leh...I'll just sit in my pram, lift my head up and gawk at this gigantic tree, along with all the gingerbread men around it. Wonder if the gingerbread men can be eaten or not? *slurp!*

Once upon a time...

1 comment :
...there was this little girl.

She has always looked forward to the Christmas season, 'cos that is the time when she could feel the festive mood in the air. And she loves it.

She loves the music of Christmas carols whenever she steps into a shopping centre.

She loves the lightings along Orchard Road and the decorations on the shopping malls.

She loves the sights of Santa figurines and all things 'Christmas-sy' everywhere.

She loves opening christmas presents.

But most of all, she loves having a Christmas tree in her home, so that she can wake up on Christmas morning to find all her presents under the tree.

Every year, she will go down to the city area just to soak in the Christmas atmosphere. And every year, Christmas came and went. And still, this little girl still hopes for her very own Christmas tree.

Til now.

The little girl has grown up now.

And she has got her wish.

Weekend Break

2 comments :
Over the weekend, we went to Swissotel Merchant Court to celebrate Grandma's birthday.

Grandma warned me that I cannot reveal her age ah, else she will not cook for me yummy porridge again liao. Hee...

So anyway, since Daddy got some hotel vouchers, we stayed there for 1 night on Saturday. Which is fabulous, 'cos I love sleeping on hotel beds! I sleep better and longer on them you know. Haha...

After check-in, we went to have hi-tea buffet at the hotel. As usual, I could only watch on with envy as the adults ate, with the occasional bread bits coming my way. I suppose it's better than nothing huh...Heh.

Swimming was next and I was so looking forward to that! :)

The weather was perfect! Just nice for swimming minus the direct sun. Shiok ah! Remember I used to have a thermal swimsuit? Now I garang liao, never wear already. Hahaha... One swim diaper is all I need now! :p

Gu-jie (or Aunty Karen) and Mummy took turns bringing me through the water. But all I was interested in was hitting the water with my bare hands. Hee hee...

There was also a water-slide there and I had a go at it. But not very fun leh, still the one at playground ones better lah...

Then, Daddy got nothing better to do...so he placed a flower behind my ear! Aiyoh ehh!!! So kuniang can! (Please do ignore my kuniang pose) Hmph!

After swimming, we went jalan-jalan at Plaza Singapura and Grandma bought me a toy! Hahaha...machiam my birthday like that...hee. It's a wooden board with different wooden pieces that you can fit in and take out. There's photo of me playing with it below...YEA, I know I know, I had to open and play with my toy in the hotel room. Cannot wait lah! :p

We got back to the hotel room to sing 'Happy Birthday' to Grandma and cut her birthday cake. The cake was very yummy! I know 'cos Grandma shared some with me...Hur hur hur...

One for the family photo album! :)

Happy Birthday, Grandma!

5 comments :
Today is Grandma's (Daddy's side) birthday!
HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDMA!!! :)

Thanks for taking care of me all these while Daddy & Mummy are off to work. I know I can be very tiring to look after at times...Hee hee...

Also, I've got another playmat! Daddy & Mummy figured it's better to keep the first one at Grandma's place since it's pretty heavy to lug it to and fro. This second one is about 50% cheaper than the first mat, mainly 'cos the material is just some foam material I think.

But it's really colourful, don't you think? I lurve it! It's also slightly bigger than the first one, which is great news for me. So that means I get more space to crawl about liao... Somemore got Mummy's favourite Winnie the Pooh cartoons ah...Hee...so I don't know if she buy for me, or buy for herself? HAHAHA...

Copycat

No comments :
Ever since the last time, I've advanced yet another level in my infanthood career.

I'm a copycat now; whatever the adults do, I'll just copy copy copy. Just the other day when Daddy coughed a few times, I also coughed a few times after I heard him. Hee hee...then Daddy very boh liao...he decided to cough a few more times. So I play along with him lor... anything that makes him happy. Hahaha...

Also, when Grandma hits any hard surface with her hands, I'll copy. When Grandpa screams while playing with me, I'll also copy. When Mummy takes the rattle to shake, I'll also copy. Not bad huh? :p

Besides being a copycat, I also can do a lot of other stuff now you know. Like if Daddy or Mummy ask me 'where's Baileys?'; I'll stretch out my hand towards Baileys and go 'Ahh...ahh...'. Hee hee...'cos Baileys is my good friend now mah. No matter how many strands of hair I pull out of him, he'll still come and lick my hand. SILLY DOG. Hahaha...

I can also 'high-five' with people leh. But of course you must take the initiative lah...hehe. You'll just have to raise your palm facing me, and I'll bring my palm to your palm. Of course not those slapping kind of 'high-five' lah, but guess it'll have to do for now.

Another 'trick' I can do is that I'm able to pick out my fave storybook at Grandma's place! You should have seen how amazed Daddy & Mummy looked when they saw me doing this...repeating it many times. Hahaha... What happens is Grandma had placed all my storybooks into a basket. But most of the time, she only reads this particular book (which is called the 'Eye' book) to me everyday. So now when Grandma asks me 'Where's the Eye book?'; I'll just pull the book out from the basket. :)

Not only that, when Grandma flips to the first page which has a picture of an eye and a rabbit; and asks me 'Where's the eye?' or 'Where's the rabbit?', I'll point to them correctly! Zhen cong ming right? Heh...

But my favourite activity now has got to be *muack muack* kissing! I can kiss anybody, or anything! Put your face in front of me and ask me to kiss, I'll do it. Put a soft toy in front of me and ask me to kiss, I'll do it too. Even when I'm crawling and you ask me to kiss, I'll also kiss the floor! Hahaha...see how submissive I am? :p I've aready lost count the number of kisses I've given away liao...

Now I'm also trying to take my first step but everytime I take 1 step, I tumble down. Haiz... But I think i'm improving lah. The adults are hoping that I can walk a few steps soon. BUT little do they know...the day when I'm able to walk, is the day when I will bring terror fatigue happiness into their lives! MUAHAHAHAHAHA...

Books, books & more books!

3 comments :
Mummy got more books for me over the weekend too. Erm...actually it was Daddy lah. 'Cos Mummy just chose the books but Daddy paid for them. :p

I've got 7 new books in all! So many hor? I also don't know which one to start reading first ah...

But I like the Cheerios playbook 'cos there are places in the book where you can place REAL ACTUAL (& yummy) Cheerios.

And after that, you still get to eat them! Hee hee... Oh, so that means Daddy must remember to get my Cheerios from the supermarket okie? :)

My wonderful books! (next to Daddy & Mummy of course)

Mummy is currently reading the Dr. Seuss' 'Mr. Brown can MOO!' book to me before bedtime. It encourages me to make animal sounds, like that of a cow or a bee. Quite fun actually, although it's usually Mummy who makes the funny sounds. Hahaha...

Because I'm always hyper just before bedtime and crawling all over Daddy & Mummy, I've got to have someone read a storybook to me in order to calm me down first. Then like that, I can slowly fall asleep liao... Yea, I'm the little tyrant I know. Hee...

3 parks in 2 days

No comments :
I know I had said I wanted to go to another park after my outing to Pasir Ris Park on Saturday. But this is way too soon...hahaha...

On Sunday, Kong-kong wanted to bring me to see monkeys at Upper Peirce Reservoir Park, so of course I onz him lah. 'Cos so far the only monkey I have seen is the one staring at me in the mirror.

As it was a really wet Sunday morning, we met up with Kong-kong & Por-por at Bishan Park for breakfast first. It had a nice ambience, and the breakfast that the adults ate were pretty nice too, as I've been told. Oh, and Baileys came along too! He was pretty sore that we didn't bring him along on Saturday, so I told Daddy die-die must bring him lah...hee.

As you can see, I'm still stuck with my cereal for breakfast, while the adults are happily indulging in their sausage, bacon and eggs. HMPH! But at least I got to eat some wholemeal bread. Yes, I very easy contented wan...haha...

So after breakfast, we headed off to Upper Peirce. Heng the rain stopped already, so it was quite shiok to stroll around. Baileys told me very long never take photo of him already, so I asked Daddy to take one photo of Baileys lor...

Hahaha...Baileys is such a poser hor? Hee...

My eyelids were feeling heavier as we strolled. Must be the effects of my breakfast kicking in liao... That explains the gong look I have when I took a photo with Kong-kong & Por-por...

After a short nap, it was time to go home. And luckily for me, the monkeys had woken up and decided to come out to greet me! Yay! I think they are waiting for the humans to throw them some food. But Por-por said cannot give them lah, because they are wild animals and so they need to look for makanan themselves.

Time for a drink after an exhausting morning...with my new MagMag cup! This cup very good ah, got straw for me to suck you know. Makes drinking water so enjoyable! Hee hee...
