Waves without the sand

Last time I went swimming was before di-di was born, so when I learnt that I was going swimming again... I made sure I put on my best swimming gear!

This time, we went to a new location - the Civil Service Club at Bukit Batok. Very convenient lah, 'cos only opposite Ma-ma's place only... so we went to check out the place... minus di-di 'cos he still got no licence to come out to play yet. Hahaha...

Mummy came along though... but she never swim lah, only watch. So it was up to Daddy to take up the role of my chunky lifeguard. :P

It was a nice place; lots of different pools for either adults or kids. There was a wave pool, where there were waves splashing around minus the sand. There was also a kids' pool area where they had slides and rides in the pool, complete with a waterfall. Then for the adults, you can rent those big round floats and go down a really darn high twirling slide... *shudder*

Here's me at the kids' pool area, behind the waterfall... I looked quite scared lah, 'cos the stupid water keep splashing into my eyes lor...

Then it was off to the wave pool for some splashing good fun!

Expectedly, I just stayed near the edge of the pool when the waves came crashing along the edge, prefering to just let my feet feel the effect of the waves. Then after a while, Daddy decided to be make me more garang... so he carried me further deeper into the water. It was ok lah... heng no water enter my mouth ah. If not, I might just vomit on Daddy. Hee hee...

My arm floats didn't allow me to close my arms fully. So there I was - walking around with my arms outstretched like a scarecrow airing his armpits. Hahaha...

Overall, it was an enjoyable swimming session once again! Maybe a beach holiday next would be nice huh? *wink* :P
