Toys Galore

My secret agents had told me today got a TOYS 'R' US cum MPH Warehouse sale at Downtown East, so of course I must activate Daddy & Mummy to go check it out! :P

We went there earlier first; no, not because we are kiasu... but because Daddy & Mummy wanted to let me try out some activity playarea called explorer.kid at Downtown East. It's $6 for an hour of play, so why not? Hahaha...

Look... I even got a chop, like go pubbing ah. Hee hee...



There was a big pit filled with colourful balls for me to jump in. But all I did was stand in it, took a ball in my hands and... well, that was pretty much it. I think I was afraid I would drown inside lah.



Ahhh... the foam slides and climbing structures were more of my cups of tea. It took a while for me to get warmed up... but I tell you, once I did, Mummy was scrambling to keep up with me. That slowcoach. HAHAHA...



Soon after lunch, it was time for the highlight of the day - TOYS SHOPPING! *rub hands*

It was madness inside - lots of toys on offer and lots of people grabbing. I guess can't be helped lah... heng I was being carried all the time. :P

And so, here is my loot from the sale! :) One Astroboy remote control car, one remote control boat, one racing track with motercycles... can anyone guess I'm into vehicles now? Hee. Oh, and one make-believe McDonald's toy set...

And also not forgetting my biggest toy of the buys - one 'Twister Car'. It's those cars where you steer and turn the steering wheel, the car will move forward. Daddy let me try it at the warehouse sale and I loved it. And so, that's why it followed me back. Well, I guess the 55% discount played a part too. Hahaha...



So yep, these are all my new playthings. All in time for Children's Day!

Di-di's smiling more...just like me!

It's getting easier to get di-di to smile these days. All I've got to do is to tap his chubby cheeks lightly and he'll break into a smile. Hee hee...



Daddy says I also very easy to smile one. But I tell him making me smile (or laugh) by tickling me no count lah... cheaterbug. :P

So here's another one of di-di's megawatt smile... 'cos Mummy said must put more of di-di's photos, sekali he jealous lah. Heh...



As for me, I sometimes like to lie down on the bed beside di-di and chat with him.



Talk about what ah... don't ask me lah. I also dunno... some childish banter I suppose. Hahaha... But one thing good lah... when I ask him whether I can do something, he doesn't say 'NO! ASHTON!' unlike someone I know. kekeke...

Something funny & one Birthday Dinner

Last Sunday, something funny happened. At my expense lah.

I was having my afternoon nap, while Mummy was reading her Sunday Times on a mattress beside the bed. Suddenly, I just woke up...peered around, located Mummy and rolled down onto the mattress to go to her.

While I was halfway there, this happened...



I just fell asleep ON THE NEWSPAPER! Yep, the very one Mummy was reading. Hahahaha...



So I guess Mummy had to find other stuff to read. :P

But I woke up about 5 minutes later though, much to my absolute bewilderment. I also saw one camera lens looking at me... no need to guess lah, my unglam photos confirm appear on internet liao...



After my nap, it was time to meet up with Daddy's & Mummy's friends for dinner, in Daddy's honour. 'Cos his birthday just passed mah...




If you really squint hard enough in the photo above, you can see me trying to put on my best smile for the camera (again!). But too bad I too kecil lah... not clear enough...

But never mind lah, look at how much FUN I was having with my ice cream dessert? Hee hee...

Schooling with dinosaurs

Yesterday was school time again! And this time, we had some gigantic guests with us - dinosaurs! Yup, the lesson was all about dinosaurs... but I still don't recognize them lah. Although I did go forward to Miss Phebe to kope one dino toy. Hahaha...



And I was so happy to see Dylan back at school today! He told me he'll be flying away soon to the land of Oz... wah, so nice. I also want to fly here fly there... Think I've got Daddy's travel bug in me too. Hee hee...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!

Today's Daddy's Birthday... he's one old man! Hee hee...

So in order to cheer him up, we dressed up in his favourite football team jerseys!



So how? Nice or not?



Pardon the sullen looks... hahaha... Professional footballers don't smile much you know. Hee hee...

It's just the end result after having endured so much cajoling from Daddy to smile... not forgetting my arm also kena cramp from di-di's weight lah. :P

di-di & me... best of buddies!

Here are just some more random pictures of me and di-di taken quite sometime back...

So far, Daddy & Mummy are pretty pleased with the way I'm taking to di-di.

Well.... other than the fact that I tend to shake the playpen sometimes when di-di is sleeping inside ('cos I wanna touch and sayang him mah). And also the fact that I can't really gauge my own strength yet, and will sometimes give a harder than normal pat onto di-di's stomach. Oh, and also the additional fact that I will sometimes scream at the top of my voice for no apparent reason (actually it's because I'm happy :)) when di-di is peacefully sleeping in the room.

Yup. So really, Daddy & Mummy are pretty pleased with me.



BUT SERIOUSLY...

I'm really enjoying my role as a kor-kor. A kaypoh kor-kor actually. 'Cos I wanna be involved when di-di's bathing, feeding, playing, poopoo-ing... erm, ignore the last bit there. But best of all, I love to wake up every morning and say a big 'Morning!' to di-di and stroke his tummy!

Waterboys

We had a water play session at school today. And boy, was it fun!



Me and Timothy had buckets of fun, pouring water everywhere. Too bad one of the 3 musketeers, Dylan, was sick... so he on MC, cannot come.



If you look carefully, I think you can see my ribs. Hahaha... machiam I'm under-nourished. But no lah! I'm just not like Daddy what! Hee hee... :P



But after a while, I got tired of the water and I just wandered off to drive in one of the toy cars. kekeke... yah, me very zi dong one.



Today's actually the last lesson for the semester. But good news is that Daddy & Mummy are bringing me back next week for the new semester! Whoopee! Can see my kakis again... :)

My new pets!

Let us all welcome the 2 newest additions to the family!

Technically, they should be called terrapins... but tortoise is the name I associate them with. For now.

Anyway, I love them to bits. For now. Too. Hee hee... Every morning when I wake up, I'll run outside to the living room and greet them 'Good Morning!'. Then in the afternoon, Daddy will also let me feed them with tiny pellets.

But there's something very odd about them.

Sometimes I can see their heads. But sometimes I can only see the shells leh. And that's when I'll go at my loudest voice and say 'EHH???' :P


Oh well, donch talk about them liao... talk about myself.

Recently, Mummy had been letting me try self-feeding more and more often. And here's ample proof why I STILL need MORE practice.



Hmmm... my yoghurt looks pretty appetising don't you think? Feeling hungry yet? Hahaha...

Basically I was just dancing & prancing rather vigourously and I suddenly felt like spinning round and round... and round... and round... til I smacked head on to di-di's playpen. Best thing is I just got up to continue dancing! :P

Di-di's Full Month

On Sunday, we had a mini celebration for di-di who had just turned 1 month old! That meant yummy food and presents for...erm, di-di lor. But but but, I also had some presents too! Hahaha... dunno why, maybe the adults scared I jealous lah. Heh... so me got for myself a book and a set of new clothes! Not bad huh... not my party also got gifts. :P

Di-di ah? He's one loaded fella I tell you. Hee... But as usual, he mostly slept blissfully thoughout the party...



Err... Daddy didn't take a lot of photos 'cos he was quite busy. Busy with eating. HAHAHA...

To office & school

Yesterday, we went to Mummy's workplace 'cos need to give out kueh-kuehs to her colleagues for di-di's manyue. This is my 2nd time going there liao... first time was when I was 1 month old lor; of course I don't remember a single thing lah.


Poor di-di; had to lie on Mummy's desk on his own... & pose for photo somemore! :P

I was a bit shy at first... actually can't blame me lah; Mummy's colleagues were all so happy to see me that they swarmed around me like I was some Korean superstar and offered to carry me too. So I just shook my head vigourously. Hahaha...



But I gradually warmed up and started to hang out with some of Mummy's colleagues; especially in the photocopier room. 'Cos they had this automated mail box system that goes in and out of the room, so I just spent most of my time there looking at the mail boxes move in and out. Yah, boliao...



Then today, it was back to school again after a short break last week. And we got to play with paint again today! Teacher told us to use balloon to dip into the paint and dab it on a piece of paper. So fun... erm, I meant the smearing of bright paints all over my hand lah. Hee...



Music session was the usual again, but I think I get better with the dance moves as the weeks progress. Daddy says by the look of it, I can go zouk to mambo the night away soon. :)
