A day in school

No comments :
Last Wednesday, Ku-jie brought me to her pre-school centre that she was teaching in, to see if I could tahan at least half a day there or not. Of course I super duper happy lah... think it's also due to the fact that I got to sit the MRT train there. Hee hee...

One of the things that I liked to do when I was there was to MAKAN! :P

I had my lunch there - pumpkin rice and tomato soup. Y-Y-YUMMY!!! After having that, still not enough... I even had a share of Ku-jie's lunch - noodles. I'm a growing boy okay... heh.

Erm... and a biscuit soon followed. :P

All the kor-kors and jie-jies there treated me very well. (Maybe it had to do with the fact that Ku-jie had warned them against from bullying me. Hahahahaha...) So to repay their kindness, I did a simple dance in front all fo them and true to their hospitable nature, they clapped as if they had seen someone dance for the first time. Make me so shy only...

I even took time off from my makan time to pose some photos with them ah.

Hmmm... dunno if they were eyeing my biscuit? Hee hee...

Then it was time to get rowdy - Playtime!

I had loads of fun playing in the play area. But too bad I played alone, 'cos the rest were studying. So I had all the playthings to myself. :)

Soon it was time to go home liao. I was totally drained out from all the activities and promptly fell asleep in the cab on the way back to Ma-ma's place.

It was a fun experience for me overall and me think I really enjoyed going to school now. Which is good news for Daddy & Mummy lah, 'cos I heard that they are planning to send me for half-day school from the middle of the year.

I can't wait! Or can I? Hmmm...

Routine stuff

No comments :
This weekend was fairly routine; went jalan-jalan on Saturday and off to my must-go place on Sunday - Kong-kong's & Por-por's place.

Actually, I think Daddy & Mummy wanted to bring us to some farms on Saturday wan, but stupid weather was so darn unpredictable. So haiz... No choice, had to settle some indoor activity - shopping! Hee hee...

Speaking of farms, we did go to the Animal Resort quite sometime back; erm... actually it was last year. Hee. But anyway, it was di-di's first time there!

And I got to feed the goats this time!

This reminds me... I haven't been to the zoo for quite some time liao. Think it's time for di-di and me to start dropping obvious hints. Hee hee...

FEED ME!!!

1 comment :
I think my kor-kor had probably mentioned this before - I eat a lot. Way way way much more than kor-kor last time when he was 5 months old.

How much is a lot ah? Well, when kok-kor just started on solids, he only ate about 1 or 2 teaspoons of plain rice cereal daily.

Me leh? My daily intake is now 3 teaspoons. And that's PER MEAL hor. Hee hee... And I help myself to 2 meal servings daily. :P

And then there's still the fruits portion. In order to ensure my bowel movement don't kena jam, I also love eating my fruits. Sometimes I eat about half a jar of the Gerber fruits, while sometimes I can easily wallop 1 whole apple or pear - freshly blended of course. Ooh... I drool so much just thinking about that. Slurp!

Sometimes even when I had just eaten my fill, the moment I see kor-kor or some other people eating, my mouth will also start moving. Hee hee... Ya lah, me greedy. Mouth forever itchy... blame Daddy's genes! kekeke...

Can someone please tell me how come there are only 3 main meals in a day? Not enough lah! :P

Pig-out Weekend

No comments :
True to Mummy's words, I didn't have to attend any classes over the weekend. So that meant that I could sleep in late on Saturday morning! Of course I happy like bird lah...

We didn't do much over the weekend, except that we went for 2 really sumptuous makan. First one was a Saturday wedding dinner; where the groom was a friend of Daddy's from their hostel days.

Second one was a Sunday lunch held in Jor-jor's honour. It's his 80th birthday! And we were all gathered at the restaurant to celebrate it with him. :)

Of course as with all birthdays, the highlight for me has got to be the part where you blow the birthday candles. And needless to say, I was fighting away the afternoon sleep bug in anticipation of that. Hee.

Wah, 8 big candles no joke man. Tough for to blow all in one breath. Lucky for Jor-jor... he had me to help him. Hahaha...

I Love my Kor-Kor because...

2 comments :
...he always give me a big wet kiss early in the morning when he wakes up.

...he also throws in a mighty big hug too, with a beaming smile on his cheeky face.

...he goes "No, No, No...stop it." when I cry very loudly.

...he'll come over and give me a gentle cuddle when I still refuse to stop.

...he takes out his books and reads them out aloud to me (although I can't really understand what is he talking about...yet).

...he shares his toys with me and tries to teach me how to play with them.

...he makes me laugh by doing silly dances around me.

...I love watching him do even do the most mundane stuff; like drinking his milk. :P

...he talks to me in the car when I'm feeling bored in my car seat.

...he comes over randomly to me to sayang me on my head.

And I'm sure he loves me too. :)

Expiration of Perspiration

No comments :
I perspire. A LOT.

Everytime when I get myself active; running and jumping about, my whole head will be covered in perspiration. This is especially so at the playground when under the scorching sun, I love playing on the slides.

I can go up and down the slides for ages! And I usually like to choose the steeper ones; 'cos more adranaline pumping mah. Hee hee...

And of course after all the playing, my head looks like a mop. A mop soaked in water that is. Haiz...

Another music class trial for me

3 comments :
Yesterday morning, Mummy asked me, "Do you want to go school today?"

And I gave a resounding "YES!!!"

So I found myself attending yet another trial class; this time at Rhythm In Me at UE Square. :)

It was basically a sing and dance session where I got to put all my dancing skills to good use. Not that I was very active in the beginning, 'cos new place, new faces mah... So wherever I danced to, I made sure I held onto Daddy's hand. Hee...

But it got better towards the end when I heard some familiar songs, like the Twinkle Twinkle Little Star song. So I guess it made me feel more at home? Hahaha... Overall, me think the session turned out pretty well and I think Mummy was pretty pleased with it too.

Then it was off to Plaza Singapura for some well-deserved lunch.

And predictably, I just had to have my snooze after my makan. :P

Di-di also slept in the pram too, so I guess Daddy & Mummy must have had an amazingly quiet time to do some shopping. Heh.

So when we awoke, we found ourselves sitting in a cafe, with Daddy & Mummy enjoying a nice cup of kopi. Wah say, really know how to enjoy life while we were knocked out huh?

Hmmm, I wonder where I'll be going for my class next week leh? (Mummy note: None at the moment lah)

Turning 2

2 comments :
A bit overdue, but better late than never. :P

Last week was when I turned older - 2 years old to be precise. In fact, if someone asks me, 'How old are you?'; I'm able to reply '2 old!'. Hahaha... yah, I still can't grasp the 'years' bit yet.

Back to my celebrations.

As I'd mentioned, Daddy & Mummy brought me & di-di to Sentosa for my birthday, knowing how much I adored the sand and sea. We had gotten a room at Siloso Beach Resort for 1 night, which was a pretty new hotel me think. The room is pretty nice too, with a calming view of the beach.

Kong-kong & Por-por joined us at Sentosa too, but they didn't stay lah. They just wanted to have some fun with the birthday boy. Hee hee...

We had dinner at Sakae Sushi, which I didn't eat much. Maybe it's because I had one eye on the beach outdoors and the other on this water feature fountain outside the restaurant.

Yep, I sure had great fun splashing the water around. Heng Daddy brought along an extra set of clothing for me. If not, I would have to watch the musical fountain show in my dripping wet clothes. Hee.

It was my very first time watching this spectacle of lights, water, music and yes, even fire. And the verdict? 2 thumbs up! In fact, I sat like a stone statue on Kong-kong's lap throughout the whole show despite me only garnering 0.5 hours of sleep in the daytime.

Then, it was time to head back to the hotel for some welcomed rest...

Next morning, tummy was rumbling and so, it was off for some yummy food! Breakfast was at this cosy cafe on the top most floor of the hotel and the view was simply superb!

I had a great time devouring my scrambled eggs, sausage and yoghurt while watching (and counting) the ships that went by.

Speaking of sausages, did I mention that I suddenly took a liking to the sausages there? Hahaha... I also don't know why. But I managed to finish 3/4 of a sausage. That, on top of other food too. Ahhh, think Daddy's genes must be kicking in liao...

And as usual, Daddy never fails to squeeze in a couple of shots while I'm tucking into my hearty breakfast. So not wanting to disappoint, I also played along lor. :P

Then it was off to Palawan Beach for some fun in the sun!

At first look, the beach had really undergone some tremendous facelift ever since the last time I had been there. For one, there's a foodcourt there now. But most importantly, there is now a big splash pool for children like me to erm, splash in.

That's the good thing about going there on a weekday. NO PEOPLE ONE! Hahaha... how shiok is that? I had the whole pool to myself. Hee hee...

But after a while, I got sian of playing there and we moved on to the beach. I played with my sand toys on the beach, while Daddy & Mummy nuah-ed around, sipping their Orangina and gorging on their ice-cream at the same time. And to think we just had breakfast! *faint*

Erm, but I also had a share in the drink and ice-cream lah. Hee hee... Can't blame me; Daddy ordered them.

Even di-di was enjoying himself by looking at the waves while taking in the slight breeze. And I also happen to think he looks handsome in the hat lor... Hahaha...

The hat was actually mine but you know me, I can't stand anything being on my head for long. So it was relatively unused... til di-di came along. :)

Soon, it was nearing check-out time and we headed back to the hotel. But not before going for a quick dip in the hotel pool! Hahaha...

The hotel pool was pretty cool too, 'cos it had a slide for us to plummet into the water. I tried that, while sitting on Daddy's legs of course. But the journey down was pretty fast, so after 1 try, I decided to stick to kicking my legs in the water.

We had a quick shower in the hotel room after that, and promptly checked out. I too promptly fell asleep in the car on the way home. :P
