weekend weekend

No comments :
I just enjoyed my weekend and I realised tomorrow is another holiday again! Hee hee... shiok siah, means I get to sleep late again.

I started a new term at school last Saturday and for this term, I switched classes. 'Cos my new class also has a Mandarin session during class so my guess is it's Daddy's and Mummy's idea lor... they scared next time I jiak kantang lah. Hahaha...

Then it was off to Brandon's 1 year old birthday celebrations after that! No photos though 'cos we went late due to my class lor. But never mind lah, heng Brandon reserved some food and his yummy choco cake for me. :P

Sunday was then off to Kong kong's and Por por's place. That's also one of my fave places to go 'cos Kong kong always bring me out for shopping without fail. And I usually come back with lots of goodies! Hee hee...

I also especially love sitting on my bicycle with Kong kong pushing me, 'cos he always like to push me fast fast and I love it! But sometimes, I know Kong kong getting tired so I ask Por por to push me too. What about Daddy & Mummy? No lah, I don't want them to push. Only Kong kong or Por por. Heh. But I think Daddy & Mummy also quite relieved lah. :P

On 2 legs

1 comment :
Di-di's feeling happy... and kind of smug these few days.

That's probably because he had just learnt how to stand on his 2 chubby legs, while grabbing onto something for support of course.

But he can't tahan standing for too long yet, so he'll always come tumbling down soon after. Hee hee...

Sometimes I'll be the nice kor-kor and hold his hand while he's standing up. But no use lah; I'll always end up tumbling down together with him too.

Riding without pedaling...yet

1 comment :
I've got myself a new plaything - my very own tricycle!

Nice sunshine colour and a nice retro feel to the tricycle... Although there's nothing retro about the price. Hahaha... but at least Daddy didn't have to buy a COE together with the bike. kekeke...

I love the wheels 'cos they are big and sturdy... means I can tackle corners at high speeds too. :P

No lah, I'm only kidding 'cos I can't really even pedal that well yet. Most of the time, I'm just using my legs to push myself forward and backwards... nothing too tricky. But Daddy has been training me to learn how to use the pedals and I'm happy to report that I can pedal for a short while before my feet slip off the pedals.

That's me above being frustrated yet again, after my feet slipped off the pedals. :P

Hahaha... kidding again lah. But it's okay; I'm still trying... and hopefully I'll pick it up real soon.

Ok ok, I've got to go for my tricycling practice session liao... wish me luck! Now, if only I can figure out how come I can only always go in a straight line...

Hearty Brekkie

No comments :
This morning, we headed down to Ikea Tampines for a yummilicious breakfast! We had quite a lot of stuff for breakfast, like French Toast, bee hoon, eggs, sausage, chee cheong fun... Wah, I feel full already. Hahaha... But I especially like the sausages best! :P

So with such a wide array of food, confirm di-di and me were in high spirits lah!

Nice photo of us hor? Daddy's & Mummy's current fave now... hahaha... 'Cos got my charming smile and di-di's so-sweet-see-already-heart-can-melt smile at the same time. Heh. Or so they say lah.

Pity my mouth was stained with the yummy chee cheong fun sauce lah. Hee...

But my smile only lasted for one photo shot, 'cos I was back to focusing on my makan the next time the camera went snap! But I think di-di has just discovered the joys of taking photos...

Then it was back home for some rest and Daddy & Mummy skipped lunch 'cos we were meeting Daddy's & Mummy's friends for a hi-tea dim sum buffet! EAT AGAIN! Hahaha.... but got my favorite siew mai so I don't mind lah. No photos as evidence 'cos we were all busy stuffing our bellies. Hee...

Bubble Bath Bonding

No comments :
Today was yet another lazy day - went to school in the morning, had my lunch, went home, didn't sleep til about 4.30pm, woke up, had my dinner...

... oh, and had a bath together with di-di for the very first time!

Yep, together in the same bathtub. As you can see, there were loads of bubbles for company and we both had a great time splashing about in the bathtub. Hee hee...

Think di-di was more interested in taking photos while I, on the other hand, was more keen on squirting more and more bathfoam into the tub! Hahahaha...

Still no teeth!

No comments :
'Allo people! I'm forgoing some of my prized nap time to make a special appearance in our diary. So nice right... Hee.

One thing that has been bugging the adults more than me is that I still have no teeth. Yep, those pearly whites that are supposed to help me chomp my food in future. Kor-kor says he already had 4 of them while he was 8 months. So where on earth have my teeth gone? I also don't know lah... can't really be bothered too. Hahaha...

But I have to say my gums are feeling a tad itchy nowadays. Or maybe it's my mouth? Heh. Anyway, so I've got this teether doll that I simply love to put in my mouth. Erm, actually not only this doll lah... anything I can get my hands on also will go into my mouth. Then sometimes will kena scolding lor... :P

But you see my cute little round face... like that how to scold??? kekekeke...

Musketeers Meeting

No comments :
Yesterday evening, I met up with my buddies, Timothy and Dylan for some long overdue catching up. Timothy had just been conferred the title of 'kor-kor' in February, so we also took the chance to go see his pretty sister. :)

And of course, the 3 musketeers must take a photo together lah...

We took some time to warm up to each other again. But once we got over that, we played together with Timothy's toys and also danced to the Barney VCD that was playing on the telly. Hee...

Zippity Zoo...again

1 comment :
Yep, Daddy & Mummy brought us to the zoo again for a day of great fun!

This time around, we paid a visit to the Austalian Outback enclosure, where it had one of my favourite animals - the Kangeroos!

Boing boing boing! I love to see how the roos hop about... although they don't actually make that sound when they hop leh. Think I must have watched too many cartoons. Hee.

I even got to feed them; but some of them very naughty lah - they just decided to help themselves to the cup of food that I was carrying. I had to scream 'Stop It!' but they bo hiu me. Lucky the helpful zookeeper helped to maintain some order. And so all the kangeroos had their fair share of brunch in the end.

After that, we took a leisurely stroll through the primate kingdom but I wasn't very interested. 'Cos I was mouthing 'Go swimming...go swimming...go swimming...' like a broken record along the way.

And what do you know... I really went for a splashing good time at the Kids' World Pool! Hee hee... Actually, Daddy & Mummy didn't intend to bring me there wan, 'cos the sky was slightly overcast when we left home. But Mr. Sun my best buddy leh... so he decided to make an appearance just for me! So it also explains why I went for my dip in my diapers!

But no worries lah; I can even go stark naked just to go swimming. Hahaha... Expectedly, I had a really good time splashing around... and kicking too!

And all these while, di-di looked on in great amusement...

Di-di didn't join me in the pool 'cos he was having his lunch in the stroller. I think unlike me, he wouldn't give up his makan to go swimming lah. Hahaha...

We had our lunch after I had my share of fun. And since Mr. Sun decided to take an afternoon nap, we also decided to make a move too. Which proved to be a masterstroke on our part, 'cos the moment we made our way back to the entrance, it started pouring. Heng ah...

Once again, it was another fun outing at the zoo and me think we'll be back there soon! :)

Best of pals

No comments :
Di-di and me are really the best of pals you know.

Whenever Daddy or Mummy ask me to look after di-di and not let him roll off the bed, I'll use both my arms and place them one on each side of di-di. I very smart hor, like that he can't roll off liao.

Whenever di-di kena scolding, I'll either cry (fake of course but the adults don't know lah) or scream loudly. I just hope that they'll get distracted and forget about scolding di-di.

Whenever di-di is feeling bored, I'll take my toys or books and place them in front of him. Then I'll show him how the toys work, or point out the pictures in the book to him. If he's still not too impressed, I'll just babble along with him.

Yep, that's why I love my di-di lots lots! :)

Sunny Sentosa

No comments :
Me think Daddy & Mummy must be quite upset about my little accident, 'cos they brought me (& di-di too) to Sentosa for a short one night stay on Saturday! So I don't know whether it's to cheer me up or to cheer themselves up. Hahaha...

Either way, it sure did cheer di-di up too!

We stayed at Treasure Resort (formerly known as Sijori Resort) where it was quite close to all the action. Erm, means quite near to my fave place - the beach lah! :P

I actually wanted to go swimming immediately but it was drizzling. Drats. So anyway, mindful of all the action that were to follow, di-di and me quickly took a short nap in the cool air-con room to recharge.

We then took the colourful train to VivoCity for dinner and rode back just in time for the highlight of the night - the all new 'Songs of the Sea' show by the beach!

It was a fabulous show! My eyes didn't stray away even for one second. Heh.

I would say it was definitely much better than the old musical fountain show. Daddy said it better be man, 'cos that old one was free but this new one charges $6 a pop ( but lucky di-di & me still FOC lah).

So for that price, what we got was fire, loads of water, laser lights and some fireworks!

Yep, fireworks! My fave!

But it all ended too soon if you ask me. Hee. And we had to make our way back to our room for some sleep. But not before dancing myself silly on this pavement that was embedded with many many sparkling tiny lights. Very pretty!

Next morning and there was only one thing on our minds - swimming!

Oh, but we had to have our breakfast first lah. Heh.

Di-di was enjoying his cereal, while I was making myself a nice cup of hot chocolate with lots of yummy marshmallows!

I was indulging so much in my hot drink that I couldn't even be bothered when Daddy asked us to smile for the camera. Hahaha...

Okay, finally we were off to serious business.

Me think di-di also enjoyed himself very much at the beach. He used to be quite afraid of the cold water but now, I think he is just like me! Now I just have to wait til he knows how to splash water, so that we can both splash some water on Daddy. kekeke...

Soon, the sun was beginning to scorch a little and so, Daddy said it was time to go back. And my response?

Hahaha... I was only kidding. 'Cos Daddy said we could go for a short dip back at the hotel's pool too! Whoopee!

I think di-di was also very happy lor...

We had a quick shower in the room after that, checked out and went for our yummy lunch; erm... only thing was I was fast asleep when we began to makan. Hahaha... so Daddy & Mummy had a quiet lunch. :P

But at least we'll be back at Sentosa again! I hope... :)

sweep sweep OWW!

No comments :
This early morning, I was woken up from my sleep to go sweep tomb.

It's Qingming now; so which means we have to go to pay our respects to our ancestors. And what better way to make myself useful than to literally help the adults sweep the dead leaves away...

Yep, and I was still at it...

But one small accident occured though - I accidentally kena burnt by a joss-stick. :(

Yep, at my handsome face somemore! But I think my threshold for pain is quite amazing, 'cos I didn't cry when I kena burnt. I just let out an 'Ow!' and that was it. Oh well, at least I'll be more careful in future (I hope!). Think must tell Daddy to take photos of the left side of my face only these few days liao... Heh.
