Still no teeth

No comments :
Well well well... twelve and a half months on and still no teeth to call my own.

Not that I'm particularly bothered by it. 'Cos my food intake skills had gone up a notch, with or without teeth. I'm now eating more viscous porridge, had taken some grains of rice & yummy bread. All thanks to my trusty gums.

In fact, my food routine now is waaay better than kor-kor liao. When he was my age last time, his porridge looked as if it just came out from the tap. Hahaha... okay, I'm exaggerating a bit. :P But you get the picture.

Anyway, Daddy & Mummy found out from the paed that there's actually nothing to worry about. Some babies just take a longer time for their teeth to sprout.

In fact, the longer the teeth take to come out, the stronger they will be in future. Wah, like that ho say liao lah! Hee hee...

Oh dear, think kor-kor's a bit worried for his teeth now. :P

A lot of the clothes there are pretty chic-looking (in Mummy's words), ranging from tops to skirts to dresses etc.

It houses a collection of chic and affordable tops that will keep you cool during warm and sunny days. Think means sleeveless lah... shiok! I like to wear sleeveless tops too, 'cos I perspire a lot. Hahaha... but too bad the styles are not for me lah.

But Mummy is already anticipating her next purchase liao... by eyeing on these beauties...

Goats goats goats!

No comments :
It had been quite some time since we last paid the goat farm a visit. And so yesterday morning, we paid a visit to Hay's Dairies once again so that I can feed the goats again! Yippee!

Here's me, all ready to stuff the goats with grass! :)

As usual, I'm one kiam fella... 'cos I only take out one miserable blade of grass at a time. And I got system in place okay... if I take out a long one, I'll give it to the bigger goats. If it's a small one, I'll give it to the baby goats. Hee hee...

Think the goats must have been quite fed-up with me... HAHAHA!

Pity that di-di fell asleep on the way to the farm... so he was asleep most of the time when I was feeding the goats.

But at least he woke up just in time to drink the nice cold goats' milk! Smart little fella huh... heh.

The day out

No comments :
Yesterday, Daddy & Mummy took leave specially to bring me to update the photo in my passport. 'Cos my old photo was taken when I was a baby, together with botak, bogay and all. And so, we thought we had better change the photo fast fast because come 31 Aug, updating of passport photos are not allowed liao.

Oh, and I also took the chance to ask Daddy & Mummy to bring me go cut hair. Yep, I actually requested to go visit the barber 'cos like I told them, "Hair poke Ashton's eyes." Hahaha...

So as we were a bit early for the barber, Daddy & Mummy brought me to the Esplanade to look at boats and soak in the nice cool atmosphere...

It was a nice sunny morning, with a gentle hint of breeze... nothing much to write about, so just enjoy the pictures... Hee.

The poser in me starting to kick in...

I'm still at it...

Some more...

And then my fingers got tired from all the lifting and I decided to just enjoy the scenery. :P

That should be enough of photos for the morning, don't you think? Heh heh...

Our first piece of real estate

2 comments :
2 weeks ago, Daddy & Mummy gave di-di and me our very first piece of real estate. Cosidering the over-heated property market now, I reckon that we had gotten a pretty fantastic deal. And plus the fact that it's move-in condition.

So here's a sneak peek at our private property...

Hahahaha...

It's actually a cardboard house, complete with drawings of many many animals. But all no colour yet, 'cos I'm supposed to tap into my creativity cells by colouring it and bringing it to life. Heh.

But frankly, all I'm interested now is just playing with it; and by imagining that I really stay inside. :P

Think di-di also loves the house, 'cos he keeps going in and out of the house. Heng the house is big enough to fit di-di, me... and also Mummy together. But erm, not Daddy lah... If he's inside, nobody else can go in liao. Hee hee...

Ok, I must add some colour to our house really soon... :)

Saturday Kick-about

No comments :
Yesterday morning, Daddy & Mummy also brought us the Botanic Gardens for a leisurely walk... and of course to go feed my fave swans too.

And not forgetting the many fishes and tortoises there too. Think it was di-di's first time there and I think it's pretty safe to assume that he was pretty happy about it.

The fishes and tortoises were very hungry, as usual. They walloped all the bread that I had thrown into the pond. Daddy said the last time when I came here, when I was still a little toddler, I put the bread into my mouth too! Eeeww...

After I had made sure the fishes, tortoises and swans have had their brunch, I proceeded to my next activity - kick ball time!

Aunt Maddy had given me a soccer ball last week and I wasted no time in demonstrating my dazzling skills in front of di-di. :P

Too bad di-di can't get down and kick around with me yet... Hopefully soon lah!

In the meantime, he'll just have to be loyal supporter. Hee hee...

Pity that the skies turned dark pretty fast and we had to scurry back to the shelter area very soon. Haiz... there's always next time! :)

Welcome to the family, Lollipop!

No comments :
Today, I became the guardian of a new addition to the family. I picked him up from the Build-A-Bear Workshop at Suntec 'cos he looked so cute but very very underweight.

So I quickly filled him up with all these fluffy soft cotton, to fatten him up nicely. :)

Yep, I did had a hand in stepping on the switch to make the machine feed my teddy. So helpful hor...

Then the jie-jie asked to pick out 2 tiny hearts; one for me and one for teddy, and to rub them together. Then I gave the 2 hearts the fattest and wettest kiss that I could ever muster.

And I promptly placed them into the teddy. Ooh, my teddy is alive!

Then the jie-jie stitched teddy back and voila! He's done and ready to go home with me!

Oh, but not before giving him a name first and printing out his birth certificate... And after much serious thought, my new teddy shall be called LOLLIPOP. Sweet, colourful and forever sticky to me. Hee hee...

I love my teddy! :P

Look out! Here comes your friendly police patrol...on foot power!

Hee hee... Daddy & Mummy had finally got me this police car as my birthday present. 'Cos they lazy lah, wait until late late then buy.

But it's okay, 'cos I absolutely loved it! When we were at the shop, Daddy just placed me inside this police car primarily to give his aching arms a rest. And when Mummy started pushing the car, I was laughing so loudly like I never sit car before. Hahaha... and when it stopped, I wailed so loudly like I never wail before. And it only got worse when I was carried out of it.

And so, that was how I got it as my present. Smart eh?

Of course kor-kor also loved it to bits lah. He so lucky, can use his legs to move the car around like the Flintstones. But he's one nice kor-kor, 'cos he lets me take my turn to drive around too! :)

P.A.R.T.Y.

6 comments :
Yesterday, I had my very first birthday party thrown in my honour. And boy, was it a happy (and bountiful) one! Hee hee...

That's my specially bought birthday attire - Chupa Chups top and bottom! Heh... nice or not?

We had a buffet cum BBQ lunch for all the important guests, with the first batch of guest being our relatives... but too bad I can't even sample all the nice spread. Drats.

Daddy & Mummy got for me 2 kinds of cakes and first up was this splendid Pocoyo cake!

Who's this Pocoyo ah? He's the little boy in blue and it's the only cartoon now that makes me wave my hands excitedly in the air whenever he and his friends appear on the television. Hee hee... Think kor-kor likes the pink elephant, Elly, though. Heh.

And so came the mandatory sing-the-birthday-song and of course what's up next is kor-kor's all-time fave moment...

It's the candle-blowing lor... Darn, he got to blow the candle on my behalf again. But come next year, I'll be prepared liao! Hahaha...

Oooh, and did I mention the cake was Lychee Martini flavoured? Make the adults so happy only. HAHAHA...

Daddy's and Mummy's friends soon arrived next and after the usual food stuffing, it was time for my 2nd cake to make an appearance.

TA-DAH!

Yet another Pocoyo theme one... only this time it was cupcakes! Yummy! Or so I heard lah, 'cos I didn't get to try.

See how I was yearning for the cakes to hop into my mouth? Heh. But no matter, 'cos after all our guests had left, it was time to take stock of all my presents!

Wah, so exciting! So many presents to unwrap...

Oh, and suddenly, kor-kor remembered he hasn't given me a present yet. So he gave me something big and wet.

Hee hee... but a bit ticklish lah. :P

But I most definitely enjoyed my birthday party! But it was tiring too... Hee.
