Diego & Dora

No comments :
Yesterday, kor-kor & I got a chance to get real close with Diego & Dora, the pair of adventure-loving cousins!

Diego is currently kor-kor's fave you know... everything about Diego he also like... books, cartoons, toys... even for his upcoming birthday celebration, he already had it all planned out. A Diego cake, Diego hats, Diego goodie bags, Diego balloons, Diego plates... wah say, he really quite the planner hor. Hee hee...

Too bad there was no sing and dance segment, only meet-n-greet session. But at least they printed out a copy of the photo with Diego & Dora on the spot as a soveniur for us! You should have seen how hard kor-kor was hugging it man... hahaha...

Photos all taken by me!

No comments :
I now have a real camera to call my own!

Say hello to Blackie, my new companion and this post marks the first time that all the photos uploaded below were taken by me! Hee hee...

We met Kong-kong, Por-por, Ku-ku & Jie-jie Sherlene for dinner at East Coast tonight. And once di-di & I knew that we were having Japanese food, confirm we happy lah!

I finished my dinner really fast, 'cos I wanted to fiddle with Blackie, and go around to take photos of everybody...

Not bad huh... So far I know how to use some of the basic functions of the camera liao, like zooming for a close-up shot. I even sneak a shot of the smiling chef too! Hahaha...

After dinner, we took a brief stroll around the Playground @ Big Splash area.

Di-di sure looked like he was having fun... while I was having fun snapping away too. Then the adults decided to have some coffee, which means I got to take more shots! Hah.

Di-di was my main model subject but hard as I tried, he didn't want to smile or pose for me. Hmph.

So Daddy decided to give him a taste of the lemon instead...

And di-di actually liked it! Oh my... weird taste he has hor? Hahaha...

Well, soon it was pretty late and we made our way home... with me all eager to try out some more new shots in the days to come!

The Barrage@Marina

No comments :
We checked out yet another new place recently - the Marina Barrage!

The Marina Barrage is a dam built across the Marina Channel to keep out the seawater, thus forming Singapore’s first reservoir in the city. But enough of all that mumbo jumbo, what di-di & I really want to know is - Is it any fun there??? :P

For starters, Mummy promised that we'll be having a picnic there, 'cos there's a big big big patch of grass area just for families or couples to sit down and enjoy the fantastic view of the Marina area.

So in order to get there, we have to slowly make our way up this long ramp... and of course I couldn't wait lah!

But di-di was taking his own sweet time lor...

See? He was still dilly-dallying, and swinging his bubble bottle leisurely. Hmph.

At last, we reached! I quickly prompted Daddy to lay out our mat. Hee hee...

And YEP, the view was definitely the clincher!

Time for a one family photo...

... before we started playing with bubbles... now we're talking!

I also found some time to pose for the camera too...

HAHAHAHA... no lah, actually I was playing football with di-di. But nevertheless, I still posed for the camera AFTER I had kicked the ball. Yes yes, still very much the poser. :P

We then got a little bit hungry, and so proceeded to tear into our whole basket of picnic goodies - which contained 2 packets of Cheezels & water. Err, yuppo... that was about it.

Hahaha.... well, it was actually close to dinner time, so Mummy didn't want us to snack too much lor. Not that di-di cared anyway.

He just kept on stuffing the cheese rings into his mouth!

I then decided to take over the camera, and made di-di my first subject.

Not bad hor? I was pretty pleased with them. Hee hee... so now Daddy is thinking of getting me a cheapo digicam for my own personal use. Ooh...

I also took a family shot, sans me of course.

Then it time for for me to make silly faces at the camera, together with Daddy & di-di! :P

The sun was setting pretty nicely, and Daddy said we would leave very soon.

That was our cue to get started on our crazy games involving bags then.

First on my head...

Then di-di obviously had to copy me...

Then came the gunnysack-inspired game...

Which di-di also followed...

But he couldn't jump with it much 'cos it was a paper bag. So he figured a Hawaiian-style dance in the sunset would be rather ingenious too. Hahaha...

After Mummy emptied me out of the bag...

... we sat down and admired the sunset...

Of course there would be no shortage of poses and photos.

The sunset was really beautiful and so, do remember to go in the late afternoon or evening so that you can catch the sunset too. Also not too hot then lah... hee hee...

A final photo with Wally before we went for our makan!

Fun outing this time around; definitely we would want to be back again soon! Maybe when the 7th Storey Hotel Charcoal Steamboat restaurant opens there next month! Yummy!

That red monster & friends

No comments :
We caught our first Christmas Show over the weekend, and it was the Sesame Street one at Marina Square.

Elmo was the crowd's favourite of course, and me guess di-di's favourite monster too. Cookie Monster joined in the fun too!

My favourite Sesame Street character? Nope, not Ernie...

It's Bert actually! Hahaha... Daddy thinks it's a well, interesting choice. Daddy's thinks it's most probably 'cos his eyebrows are joined together. Hahaha, very funny lor! It's because Bert laughs very funnily and I like that. :P

The show was pretty alright, with lots of singing and dancing. We even got to go up on stage to take a photo with the gang!

Pity di-di turned away at the critical moment; maybe he was looking into Ernie's big mouth. Hee hee...
