Train Park

5 comments :
Di-di & I were off to a new park, which Daddy & Mummy promised that it was something special.

A huge train; where we could climb onboard and play ourselves silly - that's something you don't normally see in a park! Well, it's actually not very new lah... just that we haven't been to Tiong Bahru Park before lor. Hee.

Anyway, di-di & I were so happy to be running amok and climbing through the obstacles on the wooden train! The train carriages are all slightly slanted, so one would have to walk through the carriages with skill. Erm, like me. HAHAHA...

When I got bored of climbing up and down, I tried out the Flying Fox... which I needed Daddy's help to push me along. Good hor... exercise for him too. :P

I made Daddy work out again when I chased him through the maze too... kekeke...

After which, di-di & I decided to climb up to the train once again.

'Cos we wanted to wheeeee down the long slide mah... but the slide scorched my bum though, all thanks to Mr. Sun.

Then we decided to take a rest in the shade, when di-di spotted this mini-car...

... which he said was Bumblebee! Haha...

I also found a car of my own, which I said was Jazz 'cos it's all white mah.

There was even this retro-looking merry-go-round, which we also had great fun spinning ourselves dizzy on it.

Yet another great Singapore workout on a sunny weekend...

only advice is to go earlier if you don't want to scorch your backside on the slides! Hahaha...

Happy (Transformers) Family - part 1

No comments :
Introducing my Transformers Clan... well, I (Daddy, actually :P) have more lah, but these are the ones that I am currently enamoured of.

I usually will make them all stand properly and line them up so that I can take photos of them. Sometimes, I will set the self-timer on the camera and take a group shot of them and me. Yah, like the photo above. Hee hee...

Or I'll ask di-di to give a BIG smile and pose with his fave Bumblebee.

Or di-di & I will use our big Lego bricks to build a Headquarters for them... and I will insist that only Autobots can enter the building.

Luckily, Mummy is an Autobot too... so she can join us in our home. Hee hee...

Unlike Daddy... who is a Decepticon. HAHAHA... hey, somebody has got to be the bad guy right? :P

Melaka - Road Trip!

No comments :
Over the weekend, di-di & I headed out to Melaka with Daddy, Mummy, Kong-kong, Por-por, Ku-ku & Jie-jie Sherlyn for a quick one night getaway.

And can you tell how excited we were?

We stayed at Everly Resort Malacca this time around, which has a beach! Well, though the sea wasn't exactly the clearest we have encountered, the waves were very mild and the beach was quite clean.

We got the Family Suite and boy, it was HUGE. 2 bedrooms, with a kitchen and a living & dining room... lucky for the adults, di-di & I didn't had time to play hide-n-seek. :P

Why ah? 'Cos once I saw the nice sea view from our balcony, I immediately demanded, erm... suggested to go swimming!

And yes, we got our wish. Hee hee...

WHEE!!! Di-di & I loved getting out of the pool, jumping into water and swimming to Kong-kong, Mummy or Daddy. Yah, we're getting quite confident in the water liao... both of us can dig our arms & kick our legs for quite some distance underwater.

Well, obviously we would rather forgo our afternoon naps to chalk up some more torpedo jumps into the pool right? Hahaha...

But di-di still lost the battle with the Zzzz-monster in the end... so while he went back to the room to wash up and catch some sleep, I went to the beach with Kong-kong & Ku-ku to fly some kites!

Ku-ku bought me my very own kite - a Superman one! - and Kong-kong tried teaching me how to make the kite fly up into the blue blue sky...

Well, actually he was the one who helped me put the kite in the sky in the end lah... I just took over the string and chut pattern only. Hahaha...

By the time we went back to our room and washed up, di-di was up liao... all chirpy and raring to go out once again!

We made our way to the famed Jonker Walk for shopping and of course, yummy dinner! And boy, it got really crowded as the sun began to set...

We had our dinner at Mummy's relatives' restaurant, Nancy's Kitchen. Grandaunty Nancy's nyonya's food is yummilicious!

The adults did some more shopping after that, and then we headed back to the hotel for a much-needed recharge. We really needed that 'cos we were back at Jonker Walk the next morning!

There's a Flea Market there every Sunday Morning, so it was more browsing and jalan-jalan... While we were there, I kept asking when can we go back to the hotel... 'cos I just wanted to go swimming again before we check out mah. :P

Well, at least the adults did promise di-di & me that we would head back once they had their fill of chendol.

And di-di was getting so impatient that he started making funny faces at Daddy's camera. Hahaha...

But our patience was duly rewarded when we finally got to swimming once again! And of course, di-di had to make a grand entrance.

Por-por also joined us in the water too. And we must have really swam underwater for many many times... must get our time's worth what. Heh.

Sadly, we had to go wash up after about an hour of splashing 'cos we have to check out soon...

... maybe another time soon? Hee hee...

Road Trip!

3 comments :
Over the weekend, di-di & I made a one-night trip to Malacca together with Daddy, Mummy, Kong-kong, Por-por, Ku-ku & Jie-jie Sherlyn. This time, we stayed at a hotel near the beach and unsurprisingly, we had a SPLASHING good time!

Hee hee... yah, the pool and the beach were THE highlights for us monkies... while the food and shopping were the highlights for the adults of course.

Well, di-di DID really enjoy himself lots too huh... Hahaha... Well, we especially enjoyed jumping into the pool over and over... and over and over again. :P

But Daddy's too tired (or lazy) to post up all the photos now. So... Check back soon for more photos and updates on our short trip!

Go away, Rain!

No comments :
Guess kor-kor & I went during this 1 week school holidays break?

Yup, to the zoo! YIPPEE! The last time we were there, the waterplay area at Rainforest Kidzworld was under maintenance... so this time, we were back with a vengeance! Notice that we were all ready to go in our swim suits, and how kor-kor was completely disinterested in the animals? Hee hee...

ALAS...

Within 15 minutes of stepping into the zoo, it poured.

Poor kor-kor was initially quite disappointed... but out came the ponchos, and we were as happy as can be once again! Well, for starters... we got to to run in the rain, and stomp on water puddles! Hahaha...

We slowly stomped our way to the Kidzworld area, and sat down to munch some snacks while waiting for the rain to stop.

Mr. Sun soon showed his awesome power, and off scooted kor-kor!

With me trying my very best to keep up! Heh.

SPLASH SPLASH! Me think Daddy was also feeling the effects of the heat, so he wanted to cool down in the shiok water too. :P

Kor-kor was going wild on the slides, on the ropes, in the water... everything! I think he must have missed the waterplay area in the zoo lots lor... hahaha...

We took a break to fill out tummies with, what else, food from KFC... and then, we were back at it!

It must been so stupendously fun (and energy-sapping) that it made me feel so sleepy once we had our bath and changed. 'Cos as we were making our way out to have our lunch, I fell asleep in the pram.

Ahh, but I did awoke when I got a sniff of the food later... hahaha! Kor-kor told Daddy & Mummy that he wanted to go back again real soon. I don't see any reason to oppose that, do I? :P
