We heart swimming

2 comments :
One thing that kor-kor & I really absolutely love now is going swimming... swimming... swimming and more swimming!

Usually for weekends, kor-kor will always ask to go swimming whenever he sees that it's a sunny day. And that's on top of our weekly Sunday swimming lesson.

And kor-kor's smarter now too... he also throws in a request that the swimming pool must have a slide too! Hahaha...

I'm still not quite a fan of the slide yet. If I do get on it, I will always want kor-kor to sit on it with me, so that I can hug him really tight from behind and off we plunge into the water together.

What I really dig is swimming underwater from one point to the other.

Kor-kor also loves swimming underwater... he's learning how to come up for air while swimming now; something I can't do it as yet. 'Cos I still need to brush up on my kicking I think. Heh.

Of course, the other great part of going to the pool is to just... erm, simply splash water around and have loads of splashing fun!

And when we go to Kong-kong's & Por-por's house every Sunday, kor-kor will sometimes ask Kong-kong to bring us go swimming too! Haha! Not that I'm complaining of course.

Follow the map (and me!)

No comments :
Guess where I brought Kong-kong & Por-por today?

YUP, I was the leader for the day and the one in charge of the map. Now, if only I can just confirm where we were first. :P

Guessed where we were already? Yah, it's the ZOO lor...

It was a pretty hot morning... I was perspiring so much before I even got to visit the first animal! :P But no amount of heat can keep me from paying my favourite animal a visit.

The giraffe is STILL my fave... considering that I used to change favourite animals every week when I was younger, this has got to be a record.

Since it was Kong-kong's & Por-por's first visit to the Zoo in dunno-how-many-years, I brought them to visit the many different animal exhibits.

Di-di very shiok lor; he was sitting in his comfy pram for most of the way.

And he was very clever - only getting up from his throne whenever there were fun things to play with. Hah!

Remember when I said it was a hot morning? Guess I really spoke too soon, 'cos dark clouds started swirling above us as it passed noon. So we started to gather pace... but there is always time for a photo with a Zoo legend right?

It was a nice trip to the zoo; di-di & I got to re-visit many of the animals again. Only thing was, I didn't get the chance to play at the Rainforest Kidzworld with Kong-kong & Por-por. Oh well, there's always next time! Haha...

Playdate!

No comments :
Ever since Mummy told me that Dylan & Timothy, together with their meimei's, were coming over to my house for a playdate today, I have kept asking & asking & asking since morning when they would be coming. And finally, after I had awoken from my afternoon nap, they were all here! :)

Coincidentally, all of us including Bethany & Rae-Ann were decked out in white tops... with di-di & me in our ah-pek hole-ly tees too. Hahaha...

And unsurprisingly, all of the kids zoomed in on the train table immediately... with the boys assuming the role of train conductors...

Think the girls got a bit bored after that, and off they went to play with building blocks and Lego. Hee hee...

After close to 2 hours of fun, Dylan & Rae-Ann had to leave already as they have a dinner date with their ye-ye... while I had a private dinner appointment with Timothy. We had to finish our food really fast 'cos we still wanted to play Wii after that. :P

Thanks to all for coming and playing with di-di & me. We sure had loads of fun! Let's do it again another time, okie?

Amen!

No comments :
What am I doing, you ask?

I'm praying, of course. Here's a video of me in action.

Erm, in case you do not understand what I was mumbling about, here's the transcript:

"Jesus... for the love, thank you...Amen."

Cute or not? Hahahaha...

What goes up must come down

1 comment :
Today, being such a wonderfully good (& hot!) day, it would have been against our conscience if we had just stayed at home. And so, Daddy & Mummy decided to bring di-di & I to Sentosa for our very maiden Luge adventure.

As you can see, the both of us were getting all excited, hot and very sweaty in our headgear while waiting for our turn to go onto the skyride. And yes, we managed to squeeze in a family shot in too... notice my impatient face. Hah!

Soon, we were lifted high up into the air on the skyride where were treated to a panoramic tree-top ride to the starting point of our luge rides. I reckoned my legs did turn a bit soft when I first peered down and saw how high my legs were actually dangling above the ground.

But I guess there were no such issues with di-di huh?

He was so excited and happy to be 'flying' so high up in the sky that if you had given him 2 chicken wings there and then, you would have thought he was a bird as he was flapping his arms so excitedly about.

The view up there was simply magnificent and it did play a part in easing my initial fears... and you know I had truly thrown that to the back of my mind when I started to get all talkative and asking loads of 'whys?'.

And at this precise moment, when we were all still high up in the air, Mummy suddenly decided to demonstrate the full effect of gravity (I had asked that question before) by sending her handphone DOWN into the trees below! Okay, to Mummy's credit, her naughty handphone slipped out of her pocket and decided to embrace the lush greenery below.

After banishing the thought of jumping off the skyride and hurtling down after the phone ala Spiderman, Daddy decided the next best (and safer) course of action would be to comb the crime scene after we were done with our Luge ride.

And luge we did... and boy, it was so fun to be gliding down the slope in our go-karts! Di-di & I were not tall enough to be riding on our own yet, so we joined Daddy & Mummy respectively in their karts where they did the steering while we enjoyed the wind though our hair. So it was no surprise when di-di & I both unanimously voted to go on the Luge again! :P

Of course there was just the small task of retrieving Mummy's phone first and who else was suited for this arduous task but our valiant Daddy. That was by default if you really must probe. Blessed by the jungle-bashing training that the army had imparted, Daddy did complete his mission. And to Mummy's amazement, her phone was barely scratched and even managed to power on! It's a Samsung if you are curious. Heh.

With that out of the way, we embarked on our 2nd skyride up into the sky!

And this time, you can be sure that Daddy & Mummy were not too keen on repeating the same mistake! Well, if masking tape was available, they would have used that to tape up their pockets... and maybe my mouth too. 'Cos I was asking and asking and asking where, how and why did Mummy's phone drop down...

Mummy did eventually point out the spot to me... while di-di was pretty much just about enjoying his time up in the sky.

And once we were at the starting point, it was wheeeee-ing time once more! Shiok!

My stomach decided to turn hungry after that... and it was time to hop onto the Sentosa train back to VivoCity.

And so to cap off an eventful day, we had my favourite food of the moment - Japanese food! Yes, it's my call when it comes to food selection nowadays. :P

Happy (Transformers) Family - part 2

2 comments :
Introducing my Transformers SHRINE...

Yup, I've got a display cabinet to house all my Transformers toys and I'm pretty sure they are all happy to have a roof over their heads. Hee hee...

Lucky thing Daddy loves Transformers lor... so not only I am also a super fan now, I can rattle off all the names of the Transformers that I have. I can even tell you what are the attributes of some of the Transformers... like their Strength, Intelligence, Speed, Courage... Mummy is crossing her fingers that I will be THAT good when it comes to my studies next time. HAHAHA...

I have to say the following bunch of Transformers Animated toys are my current fave...

... with the Autobots Elite Guard a close second, well... except for Blades in the background.

Here are rest of the tiers of my Transformers collection...

Actually, there are lots more of Transformers toys in Daddy's room... but Daddy said we can't open those 'cos they're quite difficult to find. So sometimes I'll just take them out and slowly see the boxes one by one. Heh.

As for di-di, he's also bitten by the Transformers bug too.

Ahberthen right? :P

Easter Sunday

No comments :
Following the grand old 1-year-old-tradition, Daddy let me made some Easter eggs on Easter Sunday. And this year, di-di also wanted to have a hand in it too!

So it was my turn to teach di-di how to go about giving the eggs a colourful exterior...

And I think it was di-di's favourite part lor... he just kept on wanting to drop eggs into the coloured water. :P

And for this year, we made more eggs and with more colours too! Erm, 'cos I said I want to give to other people mah. Hee hee...

Well, it's just an excuse to colour more eggs lah... hahaha... and we used markers later to draw silly faces on the eggs. Happy Easter everyone! :)

Morning Walk

No comments :
Kor-kor did get to immediately put his green Trunki to good use 'cos we had a sleepover at Kong-kong's & Por-por's house since it's Good Friday today. Guess he must be really happy about that.

And so this morning right after breakfast, we had a morning trek at Lower Peirce Reservoir with Kong-kong.

Well, guess I was happy about that too, eh? Hee.

Kor-kor & I enjoyed running along the boardwalk, stopping occasionally to catch glimpses of tortoises and fishes in the water.

Kor-kor even gave his feet a short dip in the cool water... but I passed. 'Cos I somehow wanted my feet to stay dry... yeah, sometimes I'm quite the fusspot.

It was great to take in the fresh morning air... And predictably along the trek back to the car, kor-kor & I both wanted to be carried liao... hahaha... :P

My little Trunk

No comments :
Introducing my very own piece of luggage - the little green Trunki fella.

Hee hee... now I have no excuse to not to pack my own luggage when we go for holidays liao. :P I can pull it along, or lug it on my shoulder... best of all, when my feet are tired, I can just sit on it and wheel myself around! Hahaha...

OR if my legs are really THAT tired, Daddy or Mummy can pull the luggage & me along too! Well, me reckon they would rather do that than to carry me lor. HAHAHA...

Di-di & me can even sit on it together... for now. Wait til both of our bums get bigger...

It's a pretty handy piece of luggage lah... at least now Daddy wouldn't complain that my bolster & my soft toy Whiskey take up too much space in the big luggage. Hmph.

Now I just have to wait for an opportunity to put this green fella to GOOD USE. I'm all set and ready to go. Heh.
