Gallop Away

Last early Sunday morning, Daddy & Mummy decided to have a hearty breakfast outside. So what to do... we were dragged from our comfy bed, washed up & changed, bundled into the car and just when our eyes were beginning to open, we reached.

The whole compound was named Horsecity, beside Turf City. Daddy & Mummy always wondered how come there were always so many cars parked near the entrance whenever we drove past every Saturday evening when we have our swimming lessons at Turf City. So knowing them, they just had to come down and take a look. Hee.

The huge place consists of many outlets, like a restaurant, spa centre, fitness studio, landscaping shop, childcare centre and of course a stable of horses and ponies. The name of the stable is also called Gallop Stable... same as the one that I had been to at Pasir Ris Park. Wah, that one very long time ago already... di-di was still in Mummy's belly ah...

Anyway, more importantly, there was so much space for di-di & me to expend our energy... and with the balls that we brought along, confirm can perspire a lot! :P So yep, both of us had a good time kicking and chasing the ball... and although Daddy brought along 2 balls, we usually converge onto the same one lor.

Hahaha... this time I won and managed to kick the ball away first! Hahaha...

Anyway, Daddy said it was half-time already...and time to go eat our breakfast! Darn.

We had our yummy breakfast at the Picotin restaurant there... and once di-di laid his eyes on the waffles, there was no stopping him!

While I still had to force a smile first before I can touch my food. :P

Notice that di-di bochup the camera lor... 'cos he was more interested in dipping his waffles bits into the strawberry jam, and stuffing them into his mouth.

Heavenly! Or that's what I think he was trying to convey.

I liked the scrambled eggs, sausage and baked beans more though... So cleber right? Hee hee...

Well, it was truly a hearty breakfast... but I think we really wanted to go kick our ball more. So after polishing off our food and gulping down the apple juice...

... we both were raring to go again!

Whoops! Missed the ball there... HAHAHA... make me so paiseh...

Okay okay, let me try again...

After a few times, I was able to unleash quite a powerful shot when Daddy passed the ball to me.

Di-di also tried to copy me... and he managed to kick his ball up onto the shrubs, and he didn't know how to retreive his precious ball. Hee hee...

Luckily Mummy helped him, and we continued our kicking session until...

... we saw one horse and one pony making their way out of the stable. Which can mean only one thing - I can go sit on my pony ride liao! Yay!

But the pony was a bit frisky that day, so the horse handler decided to let me sit on the big horsy instead. Not that I'm complaining. :)

As usual, I thoroughly enjoyed it! Heh.

Daddy initially wanted to let di-di go on the pony too but since only the horse was a good boy that morning, di-di will have to wait til another day then. 'Cos the horse was too tall for him. But he still got to try on the helmet. Hee hee...

It was a good and fun Sunday morning workout... already I've asked Daddy & Mummy to bring us back liao. kekekeke...
