Singapore Zoo will launch its inaugural Rhino Month from 20 September to 19 October 2014 to raise awareness about the plight of rhinoceroses in the wild. Join in tonnes of rhino fun and learn the horn-est truth about rhinos and the threats that they face in the wild!

In celebration of Children’s Day and childhood, Esplanade – Theatres on the Bay presents the 11th edition of Octoburst!. The annual festival is Esplanade’s festival of arts and culture for children aged two to 12 and over four days, Esplanade will be transformed into a wonderland for children, with ticketed and non-ticketed activities that will surprise, amaze and bring fun to young ones.
From a production that offers a behind the scenes glimpse into how an animated film is created (Something Very Far Away), to a huge outdoor maze made of colourful ribbons which will be created by children themselves (aMaze me!), the festival offers a line-up of ticketed and non-ticketed interactive activities that encourage imagination and play.
