Come every school holidays period, the monkies (and I) will be always eagerly anticipating Changi Airport's celebrations without fail. All because there will most certainly be a ton of interactive activities geared towards children, keeping them suitably occupied and happy.

And for this year's November/December school holidays, it is not going to be any different.

Guess who squealed the loudest when all of first first caught sight the humongous Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Bouncy Playground?

This festive season, Changi Airport will be transformed into an around-the-world Winter Wonderland with the help of some Disney magic. And considering how children have always been enamoured with Mickey mouse and gang, this bouncy castle is going to be one huge hit.

Cruise down a slide 3-metres high, leap into the colourful depths of the ever-popular ball pit or just good'ol bouncing fun - I can guarantee the kids will find the 15-minute session way toooo short! Or at least my monkies did.

But the one activity that tickled the boys most was a rather sticky affair.

After all, how often can one can plastered onto an extremely sticky velcro wall???

Not only that, kids can enjoy interactive storytelling and stage performances by ventriloquist puppeteers and contact jugglers during weekends from 6.30pm to 7pm next to the Bouncy Playground. On days with scheduled stage performances, they can indulge in some fun origami sessions too!

But that is not all - the Disney magic continues with a three-storey high interactive Neuschwanstein Castle in Terminal 3.

The castle was the source of inspiration for the original Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty Castles in Disneyland theme parks and anything to do with princesses was enough to take Ale's breath away.

Okay, so the boys were also equally impressed by the towering castle... thanks to the numerous Disney characters figurines who were placed around the castle.

But all that faded into oblivion when the most famous mouse in the world made his LIVE appearance in front of the castle!

Altough Mickey's appearance was an once-off affair, visitors to the castle will be able to enjoy an idyllic tour of Germany's countryside within the castle and come show time, they will be treated to a multi-sensory show combining captivating lights and sounds with an engaging storyline. And what's a festive show without a magical touch of snow?

Cue boundless excitement and joy from all kids. My monkies included.

So it wasn't real snow. But in the eyes of the kids, it did not really matter.

To add on the festive cheer, Mickey and Minnie Mouse will also be making an appearance during an exclusive three-day-only Meet & Greet at T3 Departure Check-in Row 11. Mark down the dates of 19, 20 & 21 Dec at 1pm, 2.30pm, 4pm, 5.30pm & 7pm if you do not want to miss a photo opportunity with them!

Kids (or adults) will also have a chance to bring home a slice of Disney magic by collecting a full set of limited-edition Christmas plush toys featuring Mickey and Minnie in various country-themed costumes. Shoppers and diners can purchase each of the plush toys for $3 when they spend a minimum of $60 in a single receipt in Changi Airport's public area, or $100 in the transit area. A new pair will be launched every fortnight from now til 4 January 2015.

Even though the Bouncy Playground will no doubt illicit the loudest scream from the kids, I personally feel the fairytale-like Neuschwanstein Castle (and its magical snow sessions) is one not to be missed.
