Best 10 Water Parks in Singapore for Kids

Singapore experiences 2 seasons all year round - hot and HOTTER! Which probably explains why there is something about playing with water that get all kids (and parents) excited. Whether it is staying cool in the pool, sliding down a water slide or drifting lazily along a lazy river, we all love a good splash every now and then.

So grab those little speedos and head down to these 10 best water parks that are not only fantastic fun for kids but also for parents too!

Oh and in case you are wondering, a day out at the water parks need not be an expensive affair.

As the first 5 places in the list below shows, we have some of the best, value-for-money and often underrated swimming facilities here in Singapore. Entry to these public swimming complexes only cost an affordable $1.50 per adult and $0.80 per child/senior on weekdays, and $2 per adult and $1 per child/senior on weekends and public holidays - which means it only costs a total of $6 for a family of 4 on a weekend! And mind you, these public swimming complexes come with water playgrounds, tall wavy slides, lazy rivers and even jacuzzis, just like what one will find at a water theme park!

1. Jurong West Aquatic Centre

Unless you are staying in the West, this swimming complex is not exactly in the most accessible location. But rest assured that your journey to the West will be well worth the effort, for there is a huge Savanna-themed Water Play area which comes complete with two slides, water fountains amid lots of jet water streams.

For older children, there is the three-storey tube slide (Min. height of 1.2m) where one gets to slide through the snaking blue tube over the kiddy Water Play area and landing with a giant splash at the end of it all.

Oh, and did I mention there is a Lazy River too? For some reason, lazy rivers are always a hit with the monkies!

3. Choa Chu Kang Swimming Complex

Choa Chu Kang’s Wave Pool ranks as one of the best that we have experienced. The waves were strong enough but yet still suitable for children to have fun all by themselves. For younger kids, there is an adjoining pool beside the Wave Pool with a small inlet for the waves to enter. As a result, the waves are gentler and more suited for younger kids who do not want to miss out on all the fun too!

There is also a partially sheltered water playground, winding lazy river, Jacuzzi pools and the mandatory three-storey twirling closed tube slide (Min Height 1.2m) tucked away at the far end of the swimming complex.

Feeling peckish? Fuel up at the cafe located within the swimming complex.
