12 Activities for Kids this Christmas Long Weekend 2015


It's the Christmas long weekend and the festive season is truly in full swing!

3. Tanjong Pagar Railway Station Open House

4. Christmas Wonderland @ Gardens by the Bay
Now until 3 Jan 2016 (Festive Market, Ice Palace & Fairground ends on 27 Dec 2015)

Singapore’s biggest yuletide fair, Christmas Wonderland, returns to Gardens by the Bay! The fair will showcase more Italian Luminarie light sculptures, an expanded event ground, a European-style Festive Market, traditional rides and games, and a comprehensive repertoire of new attractions and entertainment for visitors of all ages. Nearly doubling in size compared to 2014's edition, visitors can embark on an experiential journey through four main areas – the spellbinding Luminaries which begin at the Golden Garden and extend throughout the festival site; the Festive Market at the Supertree Grove; The Fairground near The Meadow; and the Christmas Toyland floral display in the Flower Dome. Note that admission charges apply for Flower Dome.

6. Santa's All-Star Christmas

It's that time of the year again to bring on the festive cheer. Come celebrate the joys of the season with loved ones and your favourite characters - the Penguins of Madagascar, Marilyn Monroe, King Julien and the Minions! Catch the Christmas Fireworks Spectacular (12, 19 to 29 December 2015) set to a festive score too!

7. Star Wars at Changi Airport

Look no further, Star Wars fans - Changi Airport is bringing a part of the galaxy far, far away to fans, travellers and visitors alike, with two of the film series’ iconic starfighters - X-Wing Fighter at T3 and TIE Fighter at T2 - landing in Singapore for the very first time. Children will be enthralled by the resident holiday favourite, a bouncy playground, located at T3’s Departure Hall (Check-in Row 11). Inspired by the Hardangerjøkulen Glacier, one of the filming locations of Star Wars, the Norway-themed playhouse features a four-metre high slide, an illuminating ball pit, a ski slope and even a rock climbing lighthouse station for juniors to conquer. 8. Christmas on a Great Street

9. Koalamania - A Furry Farewell Party

The koalas are heading home to Australia so Singapore Zoo is throwing a huge Furry Farewell Party for them this December! Check out all the fun and exciting activities in store for families:

11. Merry Fishmas at S.E.A. Aquarium

“12 Days of Fishmas” activity trail
Diving Santa has hidden 12 underwater presents with his Christmas marine animals. Track down all these marine animals and answer the 12 questions to receive Santa’s special treat at his underwater workshop.

12. The Future of Us

‘The Future of Us’ exhibition is an immersive and multi-sensory experience that offers a glimpse into the possibilities of how Singaporeans can live, work, play, care and learn in the future. The exhibition will call on Singaporeans to share their hopes and dreams for themselves, their family and the nation, and to participate in steering the Singapore journey towards the future.
