Decathlon's sixth Experience Store arrives at Northshore Plaza I in Punggol on 29 October 2021 and not only is it a two-storey one, it is the second largest one after the Kallang store!

Decathlon Northshore is the second duplex store after the Orchard one which opened at The Centrepoint in September last year. And yes, this brand new store is even larger than the Orchard one!

Spanning 4,200 square metres, Decathlon Northshore is closely situated to the scenic Punggol PCN and offers more than 5,000 products across 60 indoor and outdoor sports developed and manufactured internally by Decathlon Group.

Well, if you have been to a Decathlon store before, you will know exactly what I mean when I say it is tough NOT to leave empty-handed. 😅

Of course, there are plenty of products to choose from.

In addition, there are also MORE dedicated test zones provided to ensure that it mimics the sport as closely as possible – from table tennis tables to running tracks! This is in line with Decathlon's promise of allowing everyone to try out every product that is available before commiting to a purchase.

And speaking of running tracks, Decathlon Northshore is home to the first-ever Running Track to be made 100% of recycled shoes!

In fact, customers can donate old shoes and electronics in the waste bins provided in-store, which will be recycled in turn. This is also aligned with Decathlon's commitment to be 100% eco-designed by 2026.

There are other new features within the store as well - like special test zones designed specially for younger kids!

Older kids need not feel left out.

Adults too, are not left out. Decathlon Northshore is the first Decathlon store to have an adult-sized climbing wall!

And since cycling seems to be all the rage these days, Decathlon Northshore is basically also a one-stop store for all things bicycle-related, inculding an onsite Workshop.

There is even a mini test circuit for kids who want to test their cycling skills!

Hungry after all the try-outs? Decathlon Northshore has an in-store Simply Wraps cafe on the second level too!

Rounding everything up, Decathlon Northshore is 100% cashless meaning customers are able to self-checkout at the counters or through the usage of Decathlon App. Definitely hassle-free as it frees up the need to queue... and the need for paper receipts!
