It's the small things that count :)

Guest appearance by Mummy Ash : (should have guessed since the writing is not as corny as daddy ... haha)

Seems that after being a mummy, the small small actions that the little one does, can really brighten up the day.

Yesterday was a long day at work. Finished work at 10plus and by the time we returned to in-law's place when Ash was, he was fast asleep. So we went about our stuff, washing up and all. When it's time for bed, we laid on the 2 mattresses laid out on the floor, with Ash sleeping in between us both. Seeming to feel our presence, he awoke sleepily and had a very adorable expression on his face, said "eh?", as if wondering, why were you both the whole night? How come you appeared while I was asleep? Then he proceeded to lay his hands on my face and stroked it so tenderly. So sweet! Then, he promptly fell asleep again, with his arms holding on to my lower arms. Aiyoh, then I realised, all the tiredness is worth it :) No wonder, my colleague mentioned that mummies are usually very forgetful. Always forgetting the "trouble" they've gone through. Else, they wouldn't have the courage to go through it a second and even third birth... Haha, nature's way, I guess.

Then in the mornng when Ash awoke, earlier than the both of us, he went over to daddy and gave him a peck on his cheeks while daddy was sleeping..... just melts the heart :)

Okay, back to work. The sweet thoughts makes working life so much more bearable :)

Hi Mummy Ash,

My mummy oso says that whenever she's back from work. Guess we little ones are simply too sweet and adorable to adults. :)

Oh ya, forgot to tell you, it's by chance I read ashton's blog thru one of the other bb's link and found this post rather same sentiments as my mummy. Ashton's soo cute and handsome boy!! Can I put a link in my blog as well?? Thanks!
