At first, I though Kukup was in Singapore...hahaha... Yah lah yah lah, so suaku right? :P
It was only when I saw Tuas checkpoint that Kong-kong told me Kukup is in Pontian, Johor; which is in Malaysia lah. That can only mean one thing: another stamp in my passport! Woohoo! :)
After a relatively short drive, we reached this little quiet fishing village. Most of the houses are built on stilts; like those at a kelong. And the chalet place we stayed in was pretty nice; unlike the one which Daddy & Mummy stayed in when they were there in 2001.

Well, the room was clean; I have my own toilet; room got aircon; got TV to watch...all for RM88 per room per night! Cheap hor?!?!? I heard you can even have your own BBQ near the sea and play this game that combines mathematics, shapes and strategic thinking called mahjong too ah...

The view from top of the chalet was pretty beautiful. It was relaxing to just stand there and let the breeze blow on your face...

But the wind got pretty strong after a while...hee hee...

Me think you can only stay in Kukup for ONE night...max. Heh heh...'Cos there really aren't really much things to do there; except to eat, relax....well, eat again and again. Or unless if you like to fish lah...but I don't fish you see, 'cos I think the fishes will be bigger than me ah...so I takut lah...hahaha...

But we did go out to sea on a boat to visit a mangrove nature reserve area and a fish farm. I think I enjoyed the boat ride the best lah...'cos I love to see the scenery go by...and also the wind blowing on my face...

The fish farm was pretty nice...you get to see different types of fishes being caught and reared there. Now I know how my fish in my porridge I eat everyday ends up in Grandma's pot liao...heh.

It was quite a good short getaway trip overall. And I ended up with pinkish arms and cheeks, all thanks to Mr. Sun. Gee, It didn't really felt that hot under the sun...Oh well, at least I got a tan! Heard the chicks dig that... :p
