Water Play Fun at Marina Barrage... & a Photoshoot

(Daddy blogs)

If you haven't heard of Danny Santos II, you should take a look at some of his stunning works captured on the Streets of Singapore and Bad Weather Scenes. We had the opportunity to have our family portraits taken some 1.5 years back and we loved every single shot!

So when Danny approached us for yet another family shoot, this time for Abbott, we could not say no. The premise of the shoot was relatively straightforward and comprised of two portions - the first being showing the entire family engaging in an active and healthy lifestyle, and the second depicting the monkies having loads of water play fun.

And one simply cannot get any more active than cycling down East Coast Park.

Not too bad, though I thought that the humidity and perspiration bit got to all of us. So when our next location came in the form of the Water Playground at Marina Barrage, any wonder that it coaxed the best facial expressions out of the monkies?

Although we had paid Marina Barrage a few visits, the monkies had never fully immersed themselves within the water play area until now. And if you know my monkies, you will also know that water and them have an explosive relationship. In a good way, of course.

If you have a young toddler who loves water, this Water Playground at Marina Barrage may just be the right place to bring him/her to. The entire wading pool area is ankle-deep, HUGE with ample running space, and comes complete with dancing fountains. Best of all, it is FREE.

Needless to say, the monkies had an awesome time running and splashing all around... oblivious to the fact that they were being photographed.

Erm yes, that also applied to me.

And as a testament to the wonderful allure of the water play area at Marina Barrage, the monkies refused to leave even after wrapping up our shoot!

Looks like I have to make time to bring them back another day.
