The theme park that has got Ale all excited though, is Pororo Park Singapore!

Opening in early November 2015 at Marina Square, Pororo Park Singapore is a 11,000 sq ft play and educational indoor playground, which is themed after the award-winning top Korean animation 'Pororo the Little Penguin'. The indoor theme park will feature interactive rides and activities, a Pororo Park Café, and a retail store selling what else - Pororo merchandise.

An indoor playground with a difference, Pororo Park Singapore will have fun play elements, specially curated programmes and a theatre with live performances. Young adventurers will enjoy endless fun on the Pororo Express train ride, Shark's Ball Pool, Icy Cave Jungle Gym, and much more. Besides fun and play, get creative with Loopy’s Arts classes and lend a hand to Eddy in his Science and Creativity classes and sing along with live performances by Pororo and Friends at the theatre.

With Pororo Park's Playing And Learning Skills (PALS), every child is exposed to a variety of 'fun learning' edutainment programmes. Each character in Pororo Park has a key strength, that represents different life values, which is imparted through the character personalities with Playing And Learning Skills.

Date: Opening in early November 2015
Venue: 6 Raffles Boulevard, Marina Square #02-29

Finally, we come to KidZania Singapore which should be no stranger to most parents... especially if you have been following my updates on the blog.

UPDATE: KidZania Singapore's opening has been pushed back to April 2016.

Unlike the usual theme parks, this indoor facility comes with NO rides or arcade attractions at all! Opening by the end of 2015, kids get to participate in a variety of role playing activities specifically designed to educate and inspire kids aged 4 to 14, creating a kid-centric city experience from arriving at the airport, to visiting a city centre and exploring the city streets.

A total of 32 Industry Partners have already come on board, with districts being set up within the kid-sized city to group establishments based on the nature of the establishments and role-play activities. All in all, there will be a diverse range of over EIGHTY role-playing activities within KidZania Singapore with the following various districts in KidZania Singapore:

- Automotive
- Culture and Entertainment
- Industrial
- Public Services
- Private Services
- Retail
- Sports
- Restaurants (Food and Beverage establishments will be located throughout the city)

From activities that will challenge a child’s physical limits to experiences that will inculcate values such as the importance of better health and caring for others, kids can independently decide and participate in occupations and roles that aid social, emotional and intellectual growth.

Date: Opening in April 2016
Venue: Sentosa, Near Palawan Beach (Opposite Port of Lost Wonder)
Tickets: Prices to be announced
