The Revised 'Got Kids, Go Where?' Returns with 550 Activities! + GIVEAWAY

Two years ago, I published my first book, ‘Got Kids, Go Where?’.

But if you had read my introduction in the book, you will know that publishing a book was the furthest thing on my mind when I first started my blogging journey more than 12 years ago.

Well, publishing a revised edition of the same book clearly belongs to that same category. Because after the first print of the book sold out, I was asked if I wanted to come out with a revised edition of 'Got Kids, Go Where?'.

And so began the arduous process of compiling a few hundred of activities into one book again. Only this time, on top of editing the previous entries - including removing attractions that have since closed down - I had to include another 50 activities into the new book!

So yes, the brand new edition of the book now includes 5 brand new chapters - on top of the existing 50 chapters - which works out to a whopping 550 family-friendly activities! The activities and attractions are grouped by the various themes of play, nature, heritage and travel... coupled with bonus play sections too.

Once again, the monkies were with me while I took notes and snapped new photos for the book... whether it was play, heritage, nature, eating places, or travel ideas. Compared to the first book, Ale was more involved this time around as she, together with her brothers, assigned a cheekiemonkie rating ranging from 1 to 5 - with 5 being the most awesome on the scale - for each activity and attraction. They even chose the best of the lot (otherwise known as the RAVE!) in each chapter.

The Index section was hugely well-received with the first book, so the revised edition retains that - with information such as addresses, opening hours and fees - just for that extra convenience!

From the feedback I got from my first book, the kids love to flip through it and choose the activities they wish to do whenever the weekends or school holidays roll along! Solves the headache of thinking of places to bring the kids, no?

Finally, I have all of you thank – my supportive readers. Because this book is a huge extension of what my blog has evolved over the past years.

So the next time you have a head-scratching moment and drawing a blank as to where to bring your family during weekends or school holidays, 'Got Kids, Go Where?' will be that quick saviour that you need.

Even better, allow your kids to flip through the book and let them decide on the places they would love to go!

Bought the first book and I must say it was awesome! the detailed descriptions and vivid pictures were not only just appealing to my wife and I, but useful for my 5 year old son to point and go, "Daddy can we go to this one?" I bet this second edition with added activities and venues will be hit again!

Hope to win a copy of the book so that we can impress the kids with kids-friendly activities. We have ran out of ideas on where to bring them and they are getting bored of the same old places.

Am always on the lookout for ideas on where to bring my kid to as I always believe in learning through play. Friends have been asking me why I have so many ideas and it's all thanks to books like this as well as the online blogs! Truly a saviour for working mummies like me who may not have the time to do all the research! Hope to win a copy of this book to find out more awesome places to bring my kid to and creating wonderful memories together.

Having a toddler at home and always visiting the same places with our toddler. With this book, I would not have to Google and read reviews abt places. Save the question we ask each other. "So this weekend bring bunbun go where ah?"

I would like to win a copy of the book. The purpose is to spend quality time with our children in our small but sufficient homeland. To explore the interesting places and appreciate that there are different activities to bring out the curiosity and excitement in our kids. Thanks Kelvin for a resourceful and valuable book!
