Daddy's going away...

1 comment :
Daddy's going away... to protect the country and most importantly, me! Hahaha... actually he's going for reservist for a jaw-dropping 16 days. Haiz... me think I'll miss him...

So I guess the blog will not be updated as often until he's back... No matter, here are just some pictures of di-di & me enjoying each other's company in his playpen. Erm, actually I sort of insisted that I lie down there too lah. Hee...

Of trains, sushi & ice cream

No comments :
Today was back to school once again and of course, I was elated to see my buddies, Dylan & Timothy, again!

Usual stuff at school; but I have to say that I enjoyed the painting session the most! :)

Then in the evening, as Mummy wasn't feeling too well, Daddy decided to bring me out to gai-gai so as to let Mummy have a good rest.

Since I'm currently in my 'train' phase, Daddy decided to bring me to Changi Airport, so that I can sit the Skytrain until my bum pichar. Somemore free one ah... Hahaha, so cheapo... but I like!

Dinner was first duly settled at Sakae Sushi. Which I have to add, I was an absolute angel while Daddy was having his meal. Hee hee... Of course, I had my usual fillings of chawanmushi, fried tofu and also an Ashton's First - the Handroll!

I must have thought the handroll was some form of ice cream too, 'cos I licked at it initially. Ok lor, so I suaku. But hey, I got it right in the end and I was relishing my jap nasi with the occasional cucumber shreds. Shiok I tell you...

I went on the Skytrain next; and we went to and fro the 2 terminals not once but twice! Hahaha... I like sitting trains mah. And since I didn't make Daddy choke on his dinner and was such a good boy just now, I got an extra free treat thrown in - ice cream!

And in ever-continuing role as a good boy, I decided not to let Daddy pile on the extra kilos and so finished more than half of the ice cream. Hee hee... It was yummy! Hmmm... we must do this again some other time. Daddy onz boh?

Happy Birthday Ma-ma!

No comments :
Last Sunday (Nov 12) was Ma-ma's birthday. Actually Daddy already booked a suite at Sentosa for her birthday celebration. But you all know what happened lah... I got my 'hotel' stay on top of a tiny hill called Mt. Alvernia. So I guess we just have to defer the hotel stay to maybe next month? :P

Nevertheless, we still bought a cake to celebrate for Ma-ma. And although I was still recovering from my stomach flu, you should have seen me blow the candles! I absolutely gave Ma-ma no chance at all. Haha...

Does my face look more pointed now? Mummy seems to think so. Heh... Aiyah, at least more handsome than Daddy's round face what. kekeke...

Anyway, Happy Birthday Ma-ma!!! Wish you lots of health & wealth too! :)

My Ordeal

6 comments :
Hi everyone, I'm back!

Actually I was discharged from hospital last Friday after 1.5 days in hospital. But it was only yesterday that my appetite started coming back and I was slowly returning back to my usual active self. Thanks for all your well-wishes the past few days! Daddy & Mummy really really appreciate that... :)

So what really happened?

It turned out that I had a bad case of stomach flu. Lots of vomitting, lots of wind in my belly and lots of dehydration. My ordeal started on early Thursday morning when Daddy & Mummy were preparing to go to work. I woke up and vomitted thick slabs of yellow phelgm. But I still looked okay so off I went to Ma-ma's house.

Then at about 10am, Daddy got an sms from Ma-ma that I had vomitted my milk, and also my breakfast cereal. Then when I drank some water, I also do a merlion. Jialat liao lor... Have to go see Dr. Ong at Thomson Medical Centre. He gave me some medicine which I duly took first at the clinic.

Along the way home, I puked my medicine in the car. No matter, maybe I would feel better when I got home, Daddy & Mummy thought. At home, Mummy gave me a bit of cereal and you know what happened. I puked. I got really lethargic after that, and I just buried my face in the pillow and lied down on the sofa.

So Mummy decided to put me to sleep and I was given my usual neh-neh. I puked all of that out again! Ok, now Daddy & Mummy freaking out liao... and it was not helped by the fact that my tummy looked like this after all the puking...

SO SCARY HOR???

So of course I was bundled off to Dr. Ong's clinic again where I heard the dreaded H-word.

HOSPITALIZATION.

Oh, and add a D-word to that too. DRIP. Yep, I also had to undergo a drip to replenish my lost fluids. And what do you know, suayness of all suayness, there weren't any available rooms at Thomson Medical Centre!!! Well, they did give us one in the end but it was an ICU room. Wah biang eh, fainted I tell you.

Mummy wasn't going to have me staying in such a freaky room so since Dr. Ong also does calls at Mt. Alvernia, Mummy insisted I go over there for my recuperation. And so after all the flurry of activity, I finally settled down in my quiet room.

Alas, the peace was soon shattered by my horrendous wailings when I had to be pierced for the drip to be administered into me...

Yah I know, see already heart pain hor... I lagi worse lah, flesh pain too. But lucky Daddy was clever to tell me that is actually something Spiderman uses to shoot his web from. HAHAHA... Yep, I know who Spiderman is 'cos he's one of Daddy's fave superheros. :P So whenever Daddy asks me, 'Eh, Spiderman how?'... I'll lift up my right hand and imitate Spiderman shooting out his web. Hee hee... So that made the drip a bit more bearable.

But the night time was much worse, 'cos I was cranky and yet the stupid tube was still following me around. So bopian, Daddy had to carry me on his shoulder til I fell asleep while Mummy walked beside, wheeling the drip machine at the same time. I also don't know how long they spent pacing up and down the corridor but I knew Daddy's arms ached the next day. Hahaha...

Next day, I felt better already and managed to keep my milk and porridge inside me. So I was certified fit to go home in the evening! Yippee! And so I spent my weekend resting at home and trying to build up my energy level again.

I'm feeling better now, though I still have the occasional loose stools. But Doc said that's normal and should stop in the next 2 to 3 days. At least my appetite is returning and there's no more vomitting liao. So hopefully, the cheeky & bubbly Ashton that you all know will be back by this weekend! Hee... And guess what's my current weight now? A demoralising 10kg. Haiz...

Hospitalized!

I'll most probably be still in hospital when you are reading this. I kena struck by a powerful bout of stomach flu. Since early this morning, I've been throwing up whatever I've ingested, even water. So bopian, doctor said I must be admitted and undergo a drip! So poor thing hor... think Mummy & Daddy also heart pain.

Hopefully I'll be discharged tomorrow (Friday) lah... *sniff*

Back to work

1 comment :
Today's the day that Mummy's long holiday has finally come to an end. Yep, Mummy's going back to work today... so that she can buy more toys for me. :P

Me know Mummy will miss di-di and me more now, so I'll be an angel and post some of di-di's photos here to let her see... :)

Di-di's neck is getting pretty strong now; so whenever it's time for his tummy time, I'll also love to kaypoh and lie on my tummy as well. Hee hee... must encourage di-di mah. That's one of my many copycat acts nowadays.

One of my other copycat acts include lifting up my shirt and placing my soft toy doggie to my chest. Why ah? 'Cos I always see Mummy breastfeed di-di lor... So I also follow. Simple as that. :P

Makan by the sea

No comments :
Today was schoolday once again, but the only difference was that I was slightly subdued in class. Even during the music session, I was only standing still and hung close to Daddy. Funny eh? Perhaps I was tired lah... 'cos I slept for quite a long while in the afternoon when I was back home.

No matter, dinner today was at a nice nice place called Bottletree Village with Daddy's friends. I've been there a few times liao and I really love going there 'cos it has the sea and playground for me to expend my energy! Hee hee...

But first, must pump petrol...

Then it was off to soak in the wonderful sea breeze! :)

Wah, shiok man I tell you... I just stood around to watch the waves splash around. And there were also people there trying their luck at fishing, so I kaypoh... also stand there at look see look see lor.

Oh, and in the excitement of it all, I tripped while I was running towards Daddy. And in return I got a grazed knee but no blood lah. No sweat man, I could still even smile after that! Hahaha...

sick sick sick!

No comments :
It all started with me.

Now di-di is down with the running nose too, while I've made a full recovery liao. I had the runnies since last week - not too serious to warrant a trip down to my dear Dr. Ong - but I've gotten better since.

But now, all thanks to me... di-di has got it too. Oops. But as Mummy says, bopian lah... that's the way it is with 2 kids around the house. Me suspect Daddy had got a slight runny nose as well. Double oops.

Well, at least we still managed to sneak a trip to Malaysia last weekend with Kong-kong & Por-por. Hee hee... photos to come when Daddy is feeling better. Now I've got to go pester him to take his medicine first...
