Speed Demon

2 comments :
Over the weekend, I test-drove a race car.

Under Mummy's supervision of course.

Actually, it was at some funpark where they had lots of fun rides. There were even some terrifying rides; like one which spun 360 degrees in the air. Wah, must pay money to make your stomach turn round and round. I think I'll pass for now.

I'll just stick to my race car. Hee.

Then it was off for some supper - ice cream & fries! Yummy! Plus a deluge of photos too...

Cute or not? Heh...

It's Swim Time!

1 comment :
On Saturday, Daddy & Mummy brought us for a swim and some tanning. It has been quite a while since we last went swimming... in December last year to be exact when we went to Phuket. So it's hardly a surprise that I was only too eager to get myself wet.

See me all decked out in my swim gear? I've got a new top, courtesy from Aunt Mala who brought it back for me all the way from Australia. Di-di just got to wear my old top then... poor thing. Hee hee...

But it didn't matter to him in the end, 'cos he didn't really fancy getting himself wet at all. Even when it was just his toes that were touching the water, he burst out crying liao. Sheesh... he dosn't know what he's missing out man... :P

No matter, I just continued to enjoy myself by playing with the water.

I even brought along dear old Barney to give him a nice bath in the pool. Hee hee...

Heng it was the perfect weather for swimming. Loads of sunshine, but also plenty of clouds as well.

And what about di-di? He just fell asleep while I was splashing merrily away...

Getting piggy with it - Day 3

No comments :
Day 3 of CNY and me think di-di was getting tired of being out for so long periods of time liao. So luckily, we only had one place to go to for lunch.

Somehow I think di-di was very pleased to hear that. Hee hee...

And so, we were off to Aunty Shirley's house, with me in getting particularly interested in her kumquat plant. :P

The adults, as usual, had their chinese salad tossing routine again. And yet again, I was also asked to join in. So nice... hahaha.

Oh, and a funny thing happened when Daddy was feeding me my lunch there... Aunty Shirley's place faces the MRT tacks, so we were able to see the trains whizzing by. Knowing how much I love trains, smart aleck Daddy tried to use this tactic...

Daddy: Ash, come eat your rice quick...
Me: *continues to play*
Daddy: If you don't eat, the train won't come hor...

Just then, THE TRAIN whizzes by.

Me: AH THERE!!! *points excitedly to the train*
Daddy: -_-"

KEKEKEKEKE...

But I still finished my lunch in the end lah. :P

Then it was time to go home liao, and it was really shiok to be able to take a nice nap on my bed after 3 whole days of bai nian. Just how much did I miss my bed? Well, I slept for 3 hours in the afternoon. Hee.

Getting piggy with it - Day Two

No comments :
For our bai nian routine today, di-di and me were decked out in similar tops, but in different colours. And today, he didn't lean on me whilst taking a photo... hee.

So that means I can focus on looking good in front of the camera...

As per like last year, we paid a visit to Mummy's granduncles and grandaunties. BUT unlike last year, this time around I could go around and help myself to all the yummy goodies on the table liao. If you can recall, last year's CNY had me doing my favourite act - transferring sweets from one container to another. Hahaha... now it seems quite boliao to me but what to do... last time don't have enough teeth to makan the goodies yet.

But now, I can munch on my favourite biscuits and suck on my favourite sweets, not forgetting my fave bak kwa too! Oh, and I developed a new fancy for this little white biscuit - the kueh bangkit. I must have had at least 4 at one of the house visits. Hee hee...

In fact, I was slowly enjoying and nibbling on my kueh bangkit at one of the house when this blackie dog (actually he's very friendly lah) appeared next to me. And I instinctively put the whole biscuit into my mouth. Hahaha... yah, me no wanna share. :P

Too bad di-di could only watch me eat...

Then in the late afternoon, we dropped by at 2 of Daddy's maternal relatives' homes... and the adults promptly continued their food gorging exercise.

Yep, they had to play with their food yet again... by tossing the food really high up into the air.

I just had to try my hand at this yusheng-tossing-for-good-luck thingy. And to my utter delight, it was actually very fun! How I wish I can do that to my food at every meal time. Hahaha...

Oh, and check out a cool and funky picture of my Tai-por...

Think I'll call her T.Po next time liao, like J.Lo. HAHAHA... kidding lah! :P

Anyway, it was yet another tiring day for di-di and me. I even fell asleep in the car on the way home, without having my bath first. But luckily, Daddy coaxed me ever so nicely to have my hot bath before hitting the sack. Shiok man! Bring on Day Three... :)

Getting piggy with it - Day One

1 comment :
Gong Xi Fa Cai, everyone!

Today is the first day of the lunar new year, and di-di & me are decked out in new clothes. And so, off I set for my angpow collecting mission... hee hee...

Do I look cute with my bag? I insisted on carrying it, so as to put my teddy bear inside. Besides Teddy, there was still my water bottle inside.

Ooh... I can't wait to go house-visiting!

First stop was Ma-ma & Ye-ye's house where I immediately beo-ed ALL the yummy food on the table! :P

Unfortuantely, I was tangkap-ed for the mandatory phototaking sessions... first with Ku-jie...

Then Ma-ma's turn was next...

Di-di also kena... no escape for him too. Hahaha...

Then Ye-ye decided to join in the fun too...

Next shot was just for the 2 of us cheekiemonkies... but hor, di-di kept leaning onto me... liddat very difficult to smile properly lah...

Fianlly! I can get to eat my yummy CNY goodies!!! :)

Of course I whacked and walloped lah.

Next stop was at Kong-kong & Por-por's house, where I had my lunch. Yep, tak salah lah... my LUNCH. Even with all the goodies I ate at Ma-ma's house, I could still have my lunch. Heh.

After that, Kong-kong brought me, together with my buldging belly and all, downstairs to play with sparklers. Wah, I like!!!

That gave Daddy & Mummy some rest and an opportunity to sneak in some photos with di-di...

Soon after, it was off to Tai-por's (Daddy's side) place. And this time, I had to earn my angpow. Hee hee... I served Tai-por a cup of tea. :)

Then di-di very smart... he also came and action action a bit too...

No need to say, the adults stuffed themselves silly at Tai-por's house too. Hahaha... And to think we still had a final stop to go - my the other Tai-por's (Mummy's side) house!

I was getting a bit tired liao, 'cos I only had a grand total of 15 minutes of sleep the whole day and that was accomplished in Daddy's car. But I still had fun at Tai-por's house 'cos she had my current fave goodie - bak kwa! I also dunno why, but I somehow love this sweetened bbq meat a lot. In fact, I had a slice of bak kwa at every of the pit stops today! Hee hee...

Soon it was time to head home for a well-deserved rest, together with my bag chockful of angpows... :P

6 months of fun with di-di

2 comments :
How time flies... di-di is now 6 months old!

He's now so much more responsive when I chit chat with him. In fact, you know what makes him laugh? The sight of me crying! Hahaha...

There was this one time when I accidentally dropped a toy on his leg and of course, di-di started bawling. I don't know why but I started to cry too. When di-di saw me crying, he stopped crying and laughed! :P

I simply love playing with my little brother, and I'm pretty sure he does too. Sometimes I'll pass him one of my soft toys and we'll play with it together. Or sometimes I'll sing Barney's Mr. Sun song to him and he'll listen to me with his fullest attention... make me so happy only.

But there are also times when he'll be distracted too... erm, like when he's concentrating to poo-poo...

HEE HEE HEE...
