Free labour

No comments :
It was pretty much a relaxing past weekend for di-di & me - we had our art class on Saturday morning, followed by a curiosity trip down to the spanking new City Square mall at Serangoon Road and ended off our Saturday with a dip in the pool.

On Sunday, we had our our swim class in the morning and put back the calories after that all thanks to the roti prata breakfast. Hee hee... Then we were down to Kong-kong's & Por-por's place, where Daddy enlisted di-di & me as free labour.

Yup, it was to wash his dirty car. Not that we minded of course.

In fact, it was I who kept pestering Daddy to wash his car... 'cos you know, di-di & I love playing with water. Erm, but that's NOT the point. :P

The point was that we were hard at work - scrubbing and cleaning the car really hard. Well, only at the parts where we could reach anyway.

After the soaping came the part where I loved the most!

Watering the car to rid it of all the soapy bubbles. And what better way to do it than the old fashioned way - splashing! Hee hee...

Needless to say, we were all wet... but we sure had fun! kekeke...

Gathering in the pool with friends

No comments :
Monday was a public holiday, and what better way to spend it than to go for a cool dip in the pool! I think di-di was fully agreeable to that too!

And for added fun, we had good company as well...

Benji-kor-kor.

Sarah.

And Clara.

WOOT! We sure created havoc in the pool I tell you...

And we all had a common enemy - Daddy the sea monster!

See how all of us were preparing to shoot & splash water onto Daddy???

And he only still know how to take photos... hee hee...

With the sea monster vanquished, all of us turned our attention to the slide...

All the different patterns on how to whee down a slide started to come out liao... :P

On our backs... on our bums...

... on our bellies...

... even upside down with our heads going into the water first. Heh.

No prizes for guessing how much we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! Hmmm... maybe the adults wanted all of us to knock out really early tonight hor?

Then it was back to our home for a quick bath, followed by a yummy lunch with our friends. And surprise Daddy! We prepared a cake for you for your birthday! :)

Now if you are wondering where was I when Daddy was cutting the cake... well, I was very busy lah.

Too busy playing the Wii with Benji kor-kor.

Kekekeke...

Off to a Flyer!

No comments :
Well well well... after we got back from Austin Hills on Sunday, kor-kor & I found ourselves heading down to, NOT home but to this giant Ferris Wheel thingy...

It's called the Singapore Flyer, kor-kor told me and since Mummy got free tickets for all of us, plus somemore it was Daddy's birthday... of course kor-kor & I jumped at the chance to go fly fly with Kong-kong, Por-por, Ku-ku & Jiejie Sherlyn lah. Hee hee...

And so, after a wait to hop into our capsule...

We soon ourselves being lifted slowly upwards.

Initially, kor-kor & I were quite nonchalant about it; just sitting on the bench as if we were in a park.

But that only lasted for a grand total of 3 minutes though, and soon we were running from end to end in the capsule, trying to catch the best views and of course, happily pose for photos.

The views were quite nice, I got to single out quite a number of boats beneath us... too bad cannot see any fishes. Hahaha...

Midway into the ride, kor-kor suddenly declared, " This is so boring!" Guess being stuck in a confined space, and hung up in mid-air wasn't able to sustain kor-kor's attention for too long huh... hee hee...

And so, Daddy designated him to be the official photographer for the remainder of the ride...

... which I insisted to be his able assistant as well. :P

We went around taking many many many photos, including of the other strangers in our capsule too. Maybe they would buy the phoots from us leh???

When our feet touched the ground again, all of us were truly beat after 2 whole days of fun. Time to head on back home for a good bath and yummy dinner... and recharge for the next day of fun. Again!

Back at Austin

No comments :
Yay, it's a long weekend! Can you tell how happy I am???

Actually, kor-kor too lah... hee hee...

Yep, we were back at Austin Hills for a short 1 night getaway, together with Kong-kong, Por-por, Ku-ku & Jiejie Sherlyn. Yippee!

It's a good enough reason to go shopping at nearby Jusco, pig out and oh, have sooo much fun! Hahaha... Oh yeah, we also got new lanterns for the coming Mooncake Festival, courtesy of Kong-kong too! :)

Next morning, kor-kor & I can't wait to get breakfast over with...

Why? Maybe this will give you a clue.

Hee hee... it was swimming time! And boy, did kor-kor enjoy his time on the winding water slide!

I wasn't as garang as kor-kor lah; I still needed Kong-kong to go down the slide with me...

Then it was *sob sob* time to head back home liao... but not before having one last fun bath in the hotel room with kor-kor!

We had our lunch... erm or rather, the rest had their lunch 'cos I slept throughout the rest were eating. And when I awoke, we were already making our way back across the casueway liao. But no, we weren't heading home leh... where to ah???
