Penguin Sliders at Sentosa 4D AdventureLand

(Daddy rides)

Ever since the boys shot some bandits and went on a meandering log ride at Sentosa 4D AdventureLand back in April this year, they have been bugging me non-stop to bring them back for another round of thrills and spills. In fact, you can read all about my review on Sentosa 4D AdventureLand HERE.

Well, someone must have heard their nagging.

Thanks to Mumble of Happy Feet fame, the monkies had the opportunity to experience the Happy Feet Mumbleʼs Wild Ride! - a 4D motion-simulation ride which counts itself as being the first to be presented in Asia. The new ride uses the same motion-simulators as the Extreme Log Ride which the boys had been on previously so they were expecting more or less the same kind of thrills as its predecessor. Or so they thought.

It turned out that the Happy Feet Mumbleʼs Wild Ride! turned the adrenaline-pumping scale up a few notches! There were more swaying and jerking motions as we followed Mumble and his friends down the slippery snowy slopes and through the treacherous cold waters. And true to its 4D form, expect plenty of blasts of chilling air along the way too!

Oh, and *SPOILER ALERT!* beware of a certain predator that goes after Mumble too... which resulted in a tizzy chase and scared Ale somewhat.

But she did give a thumb up for the overall ride... as long as I covered her eyes during those fleeting 'scarier' moments, she decreed. As for the boys, they enjoyed it more than the previous Extreme Log Ride which goes to prove once again that they are true blue roller-coaster buffs at heart.

And the boys could not resist trying their hand at the 4D interactive Desperados shoot-out game next, something which ranked as their fave of the lot among the three 4D rides at Sentosa 4D AdventureLand. We also got the chance to immerse ourselves in the ultimate 4D experience at the Journey 2: The Mysterious Island show. Compared to the previous show of Pirates show - which bored all of us when we caught it in April - this one was thoroughly enjoyable!

The best part? The one-day Adventure Pass allows for unlimited entries for all 3 rides at Sentosa 4D AdventureLand. Definitely a sure-fire way to keep the kids' feet (and hands) happy this school holidays!

I am actually more scared of the 4D log, the vertical drops seem neverending!

and you did not mention Ayd is the Sheriff's sharpshooter 400 over points!
