Living Worlds: An Animal Planet Experience

Animal Planet's inaugural travelling exhibition is re-opening for a limited period of 10 days. From 4 - 13 September 2020, discover more about the natural world through interactive play elements, explore the updated exhibits, and take part in our onsite contests for a chance to win cool prizes! Check out the new additions where guests will get to Swim with The Dolphins and grab a selfie with them, learn more about bushfires and send an e-postcard at the Colour A Friend activity corner!

Each exhibition ticket includes a free entry to Science Centre Singapore (no standalone exhibition ticket available). Due to health and safety measures, all guests are advised to pre-book their tickets ONLINE as onsite ticketing counters will remain closed during this period.

Embark on an adventure with Out of Africa as you explore the colourful landscape of Africa and be greeted by the tallest animal and heaviest land mammal in the world. Marvel at the “Tree of Life”, the African Baobab – known for being a provider of water, food and shelter for both animals and Man, and see if you can spot the world’s largest tree aloe, Aloidendron barberae (syn. Aloe barberae), with its distinctive “forked” branching stems, in the display!

The well-loved annual Silver Arts returns for its 9th edition, and will be presenting its full programming online for the very first time to ensure the safety and well-being of our seniors during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

This year, Silver Arts 2020 will take place over two weeks from 1 to 13 September on the Silver Arts Facebook page. The public can look forward to daily programmes with a diverse and engaging line-up of activities in English, Mandarin, Malay, Tamil and Chinese dialects, all of which can be enjoyed from the comfort and safety of one's home independently and with family members.

The Indian Heritage Centre’s (IHC) first digital edition of IHC CultureFest showcases the diversity of Indian arts, culture and heritage in Singapore through the lens of the epic literary work Ramayana. The eclectic line-up of online programmes includes cultural performances, panel discussions, workshops, storytelling sessions and cooking demonstrations. They will explore a wide variety of Indian art and culture forms and their influences, bound by common values and themes. IHC CultureFest 2020: Digital Edition will take place from Saturday, 5 September 2020, to Sunday, 20 September 2020, and its programmes can be enjoyed for free online at IHC’s Facebook page and website.
