Wild in the park

No comments :
Seems like Daddy & Mummy are too busy sprucing up the house in preparation for the Lunar New Year next week... no wonder our photos are taking forever to be uploaded.

Anyway, we were down at the Jacob Ballas Children's Garden over the weekend and no need to say, I was most definitely happy lah...

Me think di-di also enjoyed his leisurely stroll in the garden too...

That was until he found some interesting stuff to calm his itchy fingers down.

The trick is to go earlier I think; 'cos unlike the last time we were there, it was not too crowded and most importantly for Daddy... not too HOT as well. Hee hee...

So we had a great time running about and exploring every part of the garden, with Daddy wasting no chances in taking loads of photos of course.

We gave the treehouse a miss this time, 'cos I was only too eager to go to the pond where I was able to touch the many water plants there.

But I think di-di was just interested in throwing rocks into the pond leh... Okay okay, me too. :P

Then THE highlight of the morning came...

WATER PLAY!!! Woo hoo!

This one say also redundant lah... of course the 2 brothers went absolutely bonkers at the waterplay area. What else were you expecting? Hee.

That's di-di, trying to lick off the dripping water from his face.

And when that didn't work, he just used his hands lor. Hahahaha...

As for me, I was keeping myself busy by surrounding myself with loads of water...

And in the process, I got caught in a... erm, funny pose...

kekeke... powerful huh? :P

Soon, the sun began showing his prowess and so off we went for a clean-up and back outside for lunch. But the fun didn't end there of course... 'cos we spent the rest of the time there running about and playing at the vast open space just outside the park entrance.

Di-di was in a very playful mood; he kept wanting Daddy & me to chase after him...

... while he just went scurrying away.

We soon tired ourselves out pretty fast... hahaha... so I requested to go home liao. Which is really as common as spotting a polar bear in Orchard Road. Or as common as Daddy going to exercise. Heh.

Birthday celebration again...and again!

No comments :
Yesterday was a day of birthday cakes, blowing candles and Daddy's fave - FOOD! Hahaha...

In the afternoon, we went for my friend, Timothy's baby sister one year old Birthday!

Yep, pretty Bethany turned one and boy, she got a happening party siah... somemore got lychee martini cake. Heh.

Pity I fell asleep on the way there, and I only woke up about 20 minutes into the party. Which means that Daddy & Mummy could eat all that they wanted first... and when I woke, of course I whacked the food lah. :P

Then to keep ourselves busy while the adults talked, we had no choice but to play ourselves silly. Hee hee.

Then later in the night, we were off to another birthday celebration - Tai-por's big day!

And I also got to help Tai-por blow out her candle...

Plus I served up my specialty gift - one big, fat, wet Ashton-kiss! *muack*

And all these while, it was di-di's turn to sleep through it all. Hahaha...

While I had a great time going around taking silly photos of everybody, using Daddy's camera.

Happy Birthday, Tai-por!

Birthday celebration

No comments :
Over the weekend, I had the chance to stuff myself silly.

Hee hee. It was Yi-por's birthday, so we all joined her to have a yummy buffet lunch! Good leh... got my fave siew mai, char siew bao, chicken porridge... slurp! No wonder di-di was also busy with his food too.

Think Ma-ma must have enjoyed her food too. Hahaha...

But I think Daddy must have enjoyed the food the most lah... that's why got so little photos. :P

Happy Birthday, Yi-por!

School life

No comments :
3 weeks of school and it feels like it just started yesterday.

Oh okay, not really lah... 'cos for one, I'm truly certified cry-free! Hee hee... Yep, no more tearful bye-byes when Ma-ma & Ye-ye from me off to school in the morning. And definitely no more tearing during class time. Quite good hor? :P

Also, Teacher has also commented that I'm very independent in class; able to follow the lessons and sing-along sessions well too. Overall, good boy lah! Hahaha... erm, only thing is my Mandarin is still pretty atrocious. But I'm slowly learning, picking up new Mandarin words and phrases everyday. Wish me luck!

snip snip snip

No comments :
Kor-kor told me that angpow time is coming! So that explained why we were off to get our hair cut today...

As usual, I was a picture of calm, hardly flinching in my seat when the scissors stared snipping. Think it was mostly down to the TV in front of me. Hee hee...

Kor-kor, was also very guai... in fact, I highly suspect going to the barber ranks as one of his fave activities! :P

Hahahaha... think kor-kor was upset when Daddy interupted his TV time by asking him to turn his head for a photo. Heh.

Think kor-kor is pretty pleased with his hair cut!

Either that, or his chocolate.

For me, the only thing on my mind after the haircut was... LUNCH!

Hee hee...

Catch of the Day

No comments :
Look what I've caught!

A monster lobster that is. Hee hee...

Actually it was a Christmas present, but we only had time to blow it up and bring it for a swim recently. Still, I love to ride on it but di-di is a bit scared of it. He only dares to sit on it when Mummy accompanies him too.

3 of us on the lobster... just nice. Lucky Daddy never said he want to join in, if not confirm lobster pichar. :P

Pat's Schoolhouse Alumni Gathering

No comments :
Yesterday morning, we popped by Dylan's place to say hello to the newest addition to his family - Rae-Ann meimei!

It was also a long-awaited reunion for the Pat's Schoolhouse Alumni - Dylan, Timothy & me! Hee hee...

Wah, Dylan's house got so many toys... I see already also don't know which one to play first. Initially, we played on our own... but gradually as more toys started to pour onto the floor, we began to play and mingle together a bit.

All 3 of us now have greater responsiblilities than before - 'cos we are all kor-kors now! Hahaha... must protect our younger brother and sisters liao.

That's Timothy's sister, Bethany, on the extreme left. And of course, the one sucking his thumb is di-di lah... got TV only he bochup everything. :P

Dylan's sister, Rae-Ann, can't join us in the group photo 'cos she can't really sit up yet. If you wanna see her, you can pop down to Dylan's blog. She very sweet and pretty you know!

You know, it's pretty rare to get 3 lively and energetic toddlers to sit together for a photo... and there can only be one reason why this photo exists. We are ALL watching the Cars cartoon on TV lor. Heh.

1st week of school

No comments :
And so, my first week of school has passed as quickly as it came. Here's a recap of what happened...

First day you all know already lah... if not, go here.

Second Day - No parents were allowed into the classrooms liao; so Daddy & Mummy pretty much just left me at the classroom door, said goodbye and walked off. Yah I know, much as it was so painful for me, it was also very heart-wrenching for them. But all I wanted was Daddy & Mummy to join me in class and so, I bawled lor...

Hee hee...not so jialat lah...

When the time came for Daddy & Mummy to pick me up from school, they were anxious to find out from the teacher how I fared in my second day at school. Teacher said that my crying was on and off and when I did cry, I mumbled to myself, "Ashton don't cry...later Daddy & Mummy coming...Ashton don't cry...later Daddy & Mummy coming..." Hahaha... Daddy & Mummy don't know whether to be happy or sad. Hee.

Third Day - Today was the day that Daddy & Mummy went back to work, so it was Ye-ye & Ma-ma to send me to school. I wailed as usual when Ma-ma said goodbye to me at the door. I kept insisting that she stayed in the classroom with me. I was just trying my luck lah... hahaha... anyway, no succes and so, I cried on and off in class again.

When Daddy went to pick me up after school, Teacher told Daddy that I vomitted in class during breakfast time. Not a lot but dirtied my shorts anyhow. She also said that my cryings were less frequent, just that I was a bit whiny as I kept insisting on going to the playground. Heh.

Fourth Day to Today - Monday marked the beginning of school again after a 2-day rest over the weekend. And I'm happy to report that so far, I've adapted to school pretty well liao! :)

I've stopped crying when Ma-ma dropps me off at school already, in fact I wave bye-bye to her and Ye-ye. Not bad right? Hee hee... And I love the sing-along sessions in class as now, I usually sing the new songs that I had learnt when I get back home. Well, I do still cry a bit like today when it was nearing time to go home. I kept insisting that I wanted to go outside the classroom to look for Ye-ye & Ma-ma. But I think over time, I should cope just fine.

Now where's the Thomas the Tank Engine train set that Daddy promised me for being such a good boy at school? :P

My 3rd Birthday celebration

No comments :
Last Thursday when I turned 3 years old, I found out that I still had to go to school. Drats... hee hee hee...

Anyway, we together with Ye-ye, Ma-ma & Ku-jie went to Swensen's for my birthday dinner mini-celebration. Since I was entitled to a free Birthday sundae. Why waste right??? :P

Cake or ice-cream... don't really matter to me. As long as got candle to blow! Hahaha...

OOH! Blow candle time! Luckily this time di-di never compete with me.

I tried to feed di-di some of my ice cream but he no want leh...

Better still... I can have MORE!

Erm, that was until when Daddy decided to stun a few spoonfuls. :P
