Clara's birthday at Polliwogs - More Pix!

No comments :
Yay!!! Daddy's comp has been discharged! So here are the rest of the fun moments we had at Polliwogs to celebrate Clara's 5th Birthday last Saturday...

When we were all ushered into the party room to begin our games, di-di jumped for joy. Literally. Hee.

So there we were - all the children obediently sitting on the floor and listening intently to the gamemaster.

First game - Musical Charis!

The last three standing... guess who won???

Hee hee... me lor. I don't give chance one. :P

Next game - stuffing colour balls into Daddy & Uncle's Kasi XXXXXL shirts so as to make them look super 'muscular'! Hahahaha!

Nice, no? :P

Final game - Dance 'n' Freeze!

Di-di did a mighty fine job... although it was a bit exaggerated. But you can bet all of us had fun!

Then of course it was cake time!!!

And we kids also learn Singapore's favourite pastime young - QUEUE! Hee...

Aiyah, got cake to eat mah... so must queue lor.

And it was back to the playarea outside once we were done with all the eating... fun fun fun! Thanks Clara for inviting us! :)

Clara's 5!

No comments :
Sorry for the lack of updates... 'cos Daddy's comp has passed out and is still in the ICU. And almost all the photos are in there lor. Hmmmm... Time for a new toy I reckon? WAHAHAHA...

Anyway, luckily I still have some pictures to show... as di-di & I were at Polliwogs over the weekend for Clara's birthday and it was no big surprise that we enjoyed ourselves to the max!

Here's us when we first stepped into the play area - all sweet-smelling & nice, with nary a bead of perspiration.

And when the time came for us to adjourn to the party room for games, food and cake, the heads of di-di's & mine were drenched and in Mummy's words - yucky. Hee hee...

But of course it didn't matter to us 'cos we both had lots of fun; and MORE MORE fun after the cake-cutting as it was back to the play area! Hahaha...

Hopefully, we'll get back our comp real soon... and we'll update more then! :P

Festive Hotel - the fun pool!

5 comments :
The next morning, kor-kor & I woke up early in the morning... all because of something that Daddy & Mummy promised us. No, it wasn't the yummy buffet breakfast that we filled our tummies with at the hotel. Though I think Daddy was looking forward to that... hahaha...

It was actually to go swimming!!!

Woohoo! Swimming never fails to excite the both of us... what's more it is a brand new swimming place for kor-kor & me. The pool at Festive hotel isn't ready yet, but the one at Hard Rock Hotel definitely is!

The Hard Rock Hotel is just beside our hotel, so as we made th short walk over... what greeted us was the white sandy man-made beach around the pool. Wah shiok, machiam go beach but minus the saltwater! Hee hee...

And what do you know - there's a nice blue slide for us kids to go whee-ing down into he water. Confirm kor-kor & I loved it lots!

There's also a mini-water playarea for kiddos like us...

...so yep, of course that kept us busy too. :P

And all these while, Ye-ye, Ma-ma & Mummy were just lazing on the beach chairs & enjoying reading their newspapers.

While Daddy was playing crazily in the water. Much like us. Hahaha...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Festive Hotel, especially since we got to visit Universal Studios & had our share of fun at the pool too.

Bring us back again soon, Daddy? :P

Festive Hotel & back to USS!

No comments :
Time to take a short breather from all the action at USS, so we headed to Festive Hotel at RWS to check into our Family Room!

Festive Hotel is one of the 4 hotels that are currently open in RWS and it is specially catered for families and in particular, with kids in mind. So that explains why we had a loft bed just for us in the room!

Happiness I tell you... di-di & I couldn't help but climb up the ladder on first sight and promptly stayed up there we did. :P

The room had a king-sized bed, queen-sized sofa bed and of course the loft bed... ample space for Ye-ye, Ma-ma, Daddy, Mummy & us to spend the night.

And to top things off, the hotel also takes care of young guests like us - check out the stuff that we got.

A dragon-toothbrush, Rubik cube, bath sponge, and our very own bathroom slippers. Cute hor? Hee. Also, Mummy loved the 'Do-not-disturb' signage that was hanging on the door handle.

Pretty unique eh? I reckon it must have gone into our luggage too. HAHAHAHA!

And with all these goodies, there must be someone chosen to model them...

One can always count on di-di I say. :P

So after our short rest, it was time to head back to USS for one last hurrah before it closes.

Di-di was getting more & more concussed by the time we re-entered though...

But not for me! I was still full of energy and raring to go!

So while di-di dozed off to sleep, I finally got my wish to go on the 'Treasure Hunters' car ride at Ancient Egypt... well, we still had to queue for a good 25 minutes but at least I thoroughly enjoyed it. Heh.

We walked around the theme park somemore, with di-di snoozing away blissfully in his pram.

I even had the chance to go on the mini-rollercoaster at Far Far Away with Daddy!

I've got to admit - I was a bit apprehensive to go on it initially but once the ride was over, I was raring to go on it AGAIN! Hahaha... too bad the park was closing and we had to dash off to the stores to use our souvenir vouchers that came with the admission tickets.

And so I got my loot for the day - a Melman the giraffe watch. :)

With that, it was time to say bye-bye to the theme park and head out for our dinner. As usual, I was a bit reluctant to go... and I asked if we could come back again & again since "we don't have to take an aeroplane right?" Hee. :P

Well, at least there was still the next morning to look forward to... Daddy said we were going to go swimming at the new pool! Woohoo!

Universal Studios Singapore - We're Back!

No comments :
After our sneak preview of the Universal Studios Singapore back in February, di-di & I have been asking Daddy & Mummy to bring us back to try the rides when the theme park is open.

And we got our wish over the weekend! And as an added bonus, we got to spend the night at the children-friendly Festive Hotel on Saturday too!

But first things first - USS together with Ye-ye & Ma-ma... :)

And our first ride of the day? Spinning ourselves silly on the Madagascar Carousel with the 4 silly friends.

I chose my fave animal - Melman the giraffe.

While di-di hopped onto his fave animal as well - Marty the zebra.

After we had spun ourselves round & round, we managed to catch sight of the runaway penguins too.

Far Far Away was next on the horizon where we caught the Shrek 4D show... it is definitely a MUST-WATCH! The seats move according to the show, and do look out for the... well, I don't want to spoil the surprise, do I? Hee hee...

We then popped over to Friar's for a quick rest and snack...

... before we headed out to conquer the rest of the park.

Oh, luckily Daddy remembered that the last time we were here for the preview, di-di & I mentioned that we had wanted to go on the Fairy Godmother's Magic Potion Spin ride.

And so we did. *beams*

We then trekked over to Jurassic Park where many dinosaurs awaited us... particularly the Dino Soarin' ride which I had also put into my 'To-ride' list the last time we were here. Heh.

We passed by Ancient Egypt , where I had to wanted to try out the 'Treasure Hunters' ride but alas, the queue was pretty long so we decided to proceed to Sci-Fi City first.

Tall fellas huh?

Well at least, di-di & I were able to go onto this spinning ride... which is a lot like those spinning tea cups at most of the theme parks but only more spacey & futuristic-looking. Hee.

All those rides were starting to make us really hungry and no prizes for guessing what I chose to eat!

Check out the ENORMOUS pizza!!! Wah!

And what do you know, the same street dance performance that we watched the last time was on again... and di-di once again gamely stepped up to the challenge. Hahaha...

Me? I was feeling a little shy lah... so it was di-di's turn to WOW the crowd!

I might be biased, but I think the loudest claps and cheers belonged to di-di. Hahahaha!

Then it was time to head to the Waterworld set to catch the live action stunt show.

Yet another must-watch show at USS - full of thrills, spills, explosions, bangs... everything! Remember, if you want to get wet, just plonk yourself on the green & blue coloured benches at the viewing gallery. Confirm a splashing good time! :P

After the show, it was time to check into our room at Festive Hotel. So we decided to take a short rest in our room first before heading back to USS again later in the afternoon. And looked who we bumped into near the exit?

It had been a really good time at the theme park thus far... it wasn't too crowded, there were queues with waiting times ranging from 20 to 45 minutes at some of the more popular rides but that's expected.

So hopefully the crowds would have thinned a little by the time we are back from our short recharge! :)
