A Typical Sunday

Sundays are mostly reserved for visits to Kong-kong's & Por-por's house, for lunches and dinners. And I ALWAYS look forward to going there!

It's mainly because Kong-kong always bring me out to gai-gai, be it the playground or the market just to walk walk. And I usually end up bringing home some new toy... hee hee... like this bubble toy gun. :P

Which means I also usually end up playing outside the corridor, and that too pleases di-di so much.

Hyper di-di is always looking for places to test out his running skills, while trying to burst out the bubbles that I create at the same time. Hee.

And it is usually Sundays when I don't even need to nap a single minute in the daytime because of all the distractions. But this sometimes translates to me being ultra-tired when it comes to dinner time. 'Cos there were a few times that I nearly dozed off while eating my dinner! Hahaha...

One Sunday Rochester Brunch

A different makan place beckoned to di-di & me last Sunday lazy morning, and so we found ourselves at One Rochester for a yummy Sunday Brunch pigout. Hee hee...

Surrounded by lush greenery and accompanied by the sounds of water trickling in the water features around us, I was undeniably ecstatic to say the least!

Sitting in my plush comfortable red seat, I impatiently asked Daddy to hurry up and order the food. I hungry mah...

Di-di, as always, was just looking for opportunities to put his 2 legs to good use. He loves to wander off on his own, so unlike his kiasi kor-kor. Oops... hahaha...

See what I mean? I was just sitting down obediently in my seat, while di-di was bashing through the jungle.

But food still hadn't came leh... hungry hungry...

... so hungry can pengsan liao...

FINALLY!

Wah, looks sedap hor??? That's the Banana pancakes above, which was very very yummy!

And Mummy got the Carbonara, and well? She loved it to bits! Heh.

And di-di & me? We got the Sausage & Scrambled eggs Kids' Set. And best part was that it was FREE courtesy of the Toys 'R' Us Star Card! Hahaha... So remember friends, must tell your Daddy or Mummy to bring along the card 'cos for every Mains ordered, a Kids' meal comes free. Shiok eh? :P

I was so hungry that I almost ate the butter first! Hee...

Okay, enough of talking already... it's gorging time!

Only one thing to say of my brunch.

Good!

Di-di didn't eat much though, possibly because he had his cereal earlier at home liao. Well, at least he played his toys and let us eat in peace...

Erm, that only lasted for a while lor. Then he started feeling adventurous again and went exploring... this time to the water features.

And I followed this time too. :P

There's also an air-conditioned playroom for kids on the second floor of the building. It screens cartoons on a giant screen and have some token of toys strewn on the floor as well. But we didn't stay too long inside 'cos we preferred the outdoor portion. Which kind of disappointed Daddy, 'cos he was really starting to enjoy the cool comfort of the aircon. HAHAHA...

Yummy food amid a serene setting... this time, it's Mummy who's craving to go back again soon!

My first class!

Today, I attended my very first class session at Turf City - a Kindermusik trial class!

When I attended the classroom, Kor-kor was clamouring to be brought into the classroom too. Hahaha... I guess he must have thought he was the one who should be attending the class instead. Luckily, Daddy distracted him by offering to bring him to the playground. That always works lah. :P

So how did I fare in class?

Well, as you can see... I was always running around, and to the huge mirrors to see my good friend. Heh. When the music came on and we were asked to shake our booty, I was good and duly shook to the rythmn. But when it was time to sit down for some story, I just can't seem to sit still. Like my Kor-kor last time lor, as Mummy said. Hee hee...

Nearing the end of the class session, Kor-kor wanted to join in the fun too. And since the teacher gave the green light, he was only too happy to sit in with Mummy & me. :P

Then after that, we had a meet-up session with all the kiddos and mummies and daddies from a motherhood forum at SOL Playground cafe. Yup, the one that Kor-kor & me had been to a few weeks back.

Kor-kor was happy to see his pals, Timothy & Dylan, once again. And since Daddy brought along a few bottles of bubbles, Kor-kor shared the bubbles with all of them.

All of them had a bubbly good time me think! And that was on top of all the playground fun that we all had before our makan. Hee...

Only thing was... all of them knew how to blow the bubbles leh. So I just stood there and assumed the role popping the bubbles as soon as they were formed. Hee hee...

Park 'n' Ride

It has been quite some time since I last brought my tricycle for a ride in the park. And since it has also been quite some time that we last went to Pasir Ris Park, Daddy thought why not do both? Wah say, he very the genius lor...

And so, there I was... furiously pedaling on my yellow trike. While di-di was enjoying running about, practically everywhere.

Pasir Ris Park had indeed changed pretty much since the last time we were there. For one, there are so many more and newer child-friendly play areas for all the VIPs - us children lor. YAY!

Of course I wasted no time in trying out all the play things man... with the slide on the top of my must-play list.

Di-di, too was busy climbing up and down and when he wasn't doing that, he was busy shuffling the sand with his tiny feet.

Then I eyed this rope bridge and quickly ran to cross it...

Di-di also followed but before he could begin, one of his legs fell through the lobang of the net. So he kena stuck, like a fish in a net. Hahaha... But no worries lah, di-di was fine. He didn't even let out a whimper.

The sand was another must-play priority for me. Oh yah, that reminds me... di-di and me haven't been to the beach for quite a long while too. Heh.

Then, it was back to the largest playground there for some serious fun!

We paused briefly for some mind-numbing coldness...

ICE-CREAM!

So cute right? There was a bench and table there for me to sit down to enjoy my dessert.

Then it was back to more fun. Spinning fun to be precise.

Di-di also wanted to have a go, so I spun him round and round really fast. Hahaha...

We found more stuff to play... man, I could really come here every week if you ask me. :P

Then suddenly, I sounded a warning that I wanted to poo-poo! So Daddy scooped me up and ran to the nearest toilet... while di-di continued his fun.

It turned out to be a fasle alarm. Hee hee... I made Daddy sweat profusely for nothing. HAHAHAHA...

Then, the inevitable happened.

No, my poo never come out. It was time to go home lah. Haha...

CNY Gathering

Yesterday night, we were off to Sa-kor Por's place for a CNY dinner potluck session. Think it must have been the nth time this CNY that I had tossed the yusheng high high up into the air already. Hee...

A bit off topic but allow me to mention that my current favourite colour is YELLOW.

Hence the insistence from me wanting to take a photo with a yellow car parked there. Hahaha...

My favourite colour was originally PINK, until I heard whispers that pink was usually associated with girls. So I changed to RED instead and that remained my fave for quite a considerable length of time. ORANGE was the next colour that overtook red as my favourite colour but that only lasted for one week, before I finally settled on YELLOW now. Heh.

Okay okay, back to the dinner...

There was lots of spaces to run about at Sa-kor Por's place, which suited di-di & me just fine. And my cousin, Amelia jie-jie, also taught me new games to play too. :)

All of us had a great time playing together, while the adults were having their makan.

But it was a tiring day for me, as I fell asleep in the car on the way home. Di-di didn't though, but I could tell he was tired too. He win lor... :P
