Gifts to my Teachers

No comments :
And so, there I was... burning the midnight oil through Thursday night, in a bid to finish up my presents for my school teachers!

But I chop chop finish liao... I placed the cookies into 2 jars, and stuck animal stickers all around the jars. Doesn't look very pro, but at least can believe that it was done by me mah. :P

And just for the extra final touch, I will also be giving them a stalk of rose each.

Hee hee... the photo frame that I was pasting animals on was actually just a surprise gift for Ma-ma lah. 'Cos I had actually finished touching up on my presents already, but I was still eager for more. So Mummy just let me continue lor... :P

As usual, di-di had a field day, or night, doing what he does best - kaypohing. And acting all very happy about it too.

After I was done, di-di and me then decided to play a game - to see who can piak more animal stickers on his own face!

HAHAHAHAHA... no need to say lah, confirm I win lah! kekekeke...

Teachers' Day Prep!

No comments :
Next Monday is Teachers' Day and since it will also be the start of a one week long school break, we are going to celebrate my first-ever Teachers' Day in school today.

Mummy said I must give both of teachers a present each, to thank them for their work, patience and love. So we put our heads together and decided to bake them some cookies!

So over the last weekend, I was at Por-por's & Kong-kong's house to bake my special oatmeal chocolate chip cookies. Think di-di see got food only, automatically become so happy liao... hee hee...

With Mummy's & Por-por's help, I mixed all the ingredients into the big bowl and gave the dough a good spin. Of course, di-di had to chip in too.

When it was evenly mixed, we then started to pinch some of it and knead it into a ball shape, very much like Playdoh hor. Hahaha... Then, very gently using my palms... TADAH! One cookie made by me was done!

It looked so yummy that I just had to lick my fingers... hee hee... erm, just don't tell my teachers okay? :P

After all the kneading and pressing, plates of cookies were ready to go into the oven. Yippee!

Spot the tiny baby cookie in the picture above? That's the special baby cookie that I told Por-por that I wanted to eat once it's done. Heh. And the taste test? Of course sedap lah! I gave some to Ma-ma too and she too liked it very much! :)

Now all I have to do is to package the cookies nicely and I'll be able to present them to my teachers today. Stay tuned for the final product!

Riding the Waves

No comments :
A few days back, we were all pumped up to conquer the waves!

Daddy was definitely very gung-ho about it. Hahahaha...

Actually, it was the Henderson Waves bridge lah, which is part of the Southern Ridges. We didn't manage to see any of the bridges the last time we were at the Hort Park, so this time di-di & me were all ready to trek up to the very tall bridge.

It was a slight walk up the slope along the way, but there were tiny animals scurrying around to keep our eyeballs occupied.

That's us looking at some birds having their breakfast... oh, and a squirrel scooting up a tree too. Not to mention the many ants that were going about their work on the soil... for some reason, I love to watch the ants crawling along the ground in an orderly manner. Hee hee...

And since it was a cloudly and cool morning, it made the trek much more enjoyable with minimal perspiration...

On hearing that we were nearing our checkpoint, we quickened our footsteps.

And we reached the waves soon enough!

I insisted that I had to be the first one to be on the bridge... and so, ran & ran I did to the mouth of the bridge and stationed myself there.

The design of the bridge looked very nice! Even the view from it was beautiful as well, full of greenery and small hills.

I then proclaimed to be a superhero, who needed to protect the bridge from any monsters. Yes yes, I'm in THAT hero phase now... hee.

But di-di had to come disrupt my sentry duty lor... oh wait, maybe he's the monster! Hahaha...

Anyway, you can tell that we had lots of fun running on the bridge lah... think di-di had even more fun, 'cos he was so busy running, climbing this and humming songs at the same time too.

And best thing of all, the curved walls of the bridge structure became our slide! WHEEEEeeeee...

And he even climbed onto a bench to give his first-ever concert. Heh.

Daddy & Mummy just spent time nuah-ing there, while the both of us continued to have our own fun.

With Daddy joining us occasionally to wheeee down the slope. :P

And what do you know... it was time to go home soon already... although I still insisted on walking somemore.

But Daddy & Mummy promised us that we will definitely be back again soon... maybe next time we'll walk all the way to Mount Faber!

Well, as long as di-di & I can go sliding down the slope again... that's all that matters. :)

Beach out!

No comments :
All the raining yesterday made this morning's weather a very very cool one. So what better excuse than to head on down to one of di-di's and my fave activities - the sandy beach. Minus the scorching sun. Shiok.

Confirm di-di was super excited lah... with his protuding round belly and all. Hee hee...

Me? I just quickly got down to work, by starting a dig a deep hole in the sand - so that I can create my private pool. :P

In between my work, I had to oblige Daddy with my Kodak moments of course.

And today, Kong-kong & Por-por joined us at the beach too! Which made me ultra happy lah... 'cos it's always guaranteed a FUN time with them around!

Kong-kong tried to bring di-di into the sea, but think di-di hadn't really warmed up to the sound of the crashing waves yet... so he was continuiously struggling with Kong-kong in a great battle of wits... erm, by trying to spread his legs really apart so that his legs wouldn't touch the water...

HAHAHAHA... obviously he can't win lah... so once di-di stood on the sand with his legs submerged in the water, he always quickly ran back up to the shore again. Only for Kong-kong to tangkap again. Hee hee...

After all the distractions and with Kong-kong's help, our private pool was ready!

But it was quickly destroyed by us! We the mighty Godzillas mah... kekeke... And di-di soon warmed up and he trotted down to the sea on his own...

... and splashing around like nobody's business...

While I was busy jumping up and down the sand, all thanks to Daddy's instructions lor. Make me look funny only.

After all the fun, it was close to lunchtime and of course we had to go wash up and leave the beach. Which was kind of difficult for me and di-di, since we had so much fun! So I act blur and pretended not to hear lor...

HEE HEE HEE...

But obviously it didn't work lah. Drats.

Fun with kor-kor

No comments :
Look at how much fun 2 packets of party toys can bring us...

Hee hee hee... yah lah, I know my mask is upside down. I insisted that Daddy put it on for me this way, can? :P

I really LOVE playing with kor-kor now you know... everytime I see him playing with something, I confirm will go and see what he's playing. And almost certainly, I will also join in. And be a copycat.

Sometimes kor-kor can get a bit irritated, 'cos I know myself lah... I just always barge in and try to kope his toys. There are even times when he has to go to the toilet, he'll either scoop up whatever he's playing and put it on top of a cupboard or he'll ask Daddy or Mummy to jaga so that I will not touch his toys. :P

But that's in the minority lah. Most of the times, he shares his toys with me and we play together really well.

That's why I feel so happy to play with him mah...

And sometimes, he does the silliest things, just to make me laugh. So that is why I was laughing so heartily in the photos below. Heh.

Hahaha... Mummy says I look so happy in the photos. :)

So sometimes, I also return the favour by sharing toys with kor-kor too. Like the clappers that were in my hand.

Erm, once I figure out which colour I like and would like to keep. kekekeke...
