Uncle Mason's & Aunty Annie's Big Day

No comments :
Last night, we went to Mummy's cousin, Uncle Mason's wedding dinner.

Since both of us had quite a lengthy nap in the afternoon, we were naturally in high spirits. Both of us even had a hand in tossing rose petals towards the newly-wed couple! But hor, I think di-di was more interested in picking the petals up from the floor and throwing them up in the air. Hee hee...

The food, though, took like forever to come... and I was feeling quite hungry (although I had already eaten my dinner at home beforehand!). So rather than risk being restless (& grumpy), both of us were allowed to run freely outside the ballroom first. :P

Think di-di was very excited lor... as long as no need to sit baby chair, confirm he happy like bird...

Hmm... Mummy says that di-di is becoming more and more handsome liao... might even surpass me leh!

Oh no, I better put on a cute face too. Hahaha...

The yumseng session was the next highlight for me, 'cos the idea of holding a glass in the hand while shouting at the top of my voice sounds pretty fun to me.

Then as last yumseng rang out, I couldn't resist picking up the strewn confetti on the floor and tossing up into the air. Yah I know, very festive. Hahaha...

The usual phototaking then followed and by that time, di-di was close to running on an empty tank liao.

He eventually fell asleep before the desserts even came, but I was surprisingly still as bubbly as ever. But once I hit my car seat, I was knocked out in a flash. :P

CONGRATULATIONS Uncle Mason & Aunty Annie!

Club D'Story #2

No comments :
Today (and for the next 8 Saturdays), I went for my weekly enrichment class at Pat's Schoolhouse.

Can you tell I'm beginning to have more fun in class now? Hahaha... Well, maybe except for the story-telling session, where I was still in a roaming mood.

Craft session and playground time captured my attention more. But the only problem was... after each activity we are supposed to wash our hands right? Everytime the tap is turned off, I would wail so very loudly. Hee hee... I love playing with water mah... OOOOH, which reminds me... Teacher Pris said next week will have a Water Play session! WOOHOO! Erm, maybe I will cry even louder after the water play session lor.

We had cake and fresh milk for the tea-break today. But I didn't felt like eating surprisingly, mainly 'cos I was distracted by the toys on the floor. Heh. Kor-kor walloped his whole piece of cake though, and even ate half of my share. Glutton or not you tell me??? He also requested for TWO rounds of top-ups for his fresh milk!

With all those food consumed, no wonder he was a bundle of energy during the music'n'movement session. kekeke...

I, too was jiggling to the sound of the music. And when I wasn't doing that, I was spinning around on my own. Or running round the room really fast. Hahaha...

After the strenuous workout, it was time to say goodbye to Teacher Pris and my friends. Have to quickly go home to makan lunch and sleep lah... 'cos at night got a wedding to go. If no sleep equals two very cranky monkies! :P

Aquadoodling

2 comments :
I've got a new toy - the Aquadoodle!

It's a drawing mat, which I can use markers to draw anything I like on it. But it's no ordinary marker; it's a marker filled with normal tap water and when it touches the mat, voila! It looks as if I'm drawing with a real marker. Then, as it dries up, the 'ink' disappears and I can redraw on it again! No mess, no fuss! Mummy likes... hahaha. :P

My doodle mat is a Dora-themed one; so it also comes with a Dora car. This car very cool lah... It runs on batteries; and when I use my marker to draw a line on the mat, it will actually follow where the line goes! Don't ask me why lah, me no engineer... only know how to play. So I always make it go round and round until it gets dizzy. Hee hee...

Di-di also loves it a lot! He just keeps drawing circles and circles on the mat...heh. Only problem is... it only comes with ONE marker! So yes, until the day when Mummy succesfully acquires another marker, there'll always be one unhappy cheekiemonkie waiting by the sidelines while the other is happily doodling away.

My first official class

No comments :
Last Saturday marked the start of my FIRST official class at Pat's Schoolhouse! Yuppo, Daddy & Mummy enrolled me in the D'Story Club, a once-a-week 1.5 hrs class, at Pat's. Kor-kor was also in the D'Story Club last time, but at a different branch.

Initial start to the class saw me clinging onto Mummy's legs... hehe. Sometimes I also insisted to be carried... well, unless there are toys to be played of course. Hahaha...

During story time, I acted in exactly the same manner as kor-kor last time - in auto-roam mode. I just can't sit still lah... I need to get up to walk around, and occasionally go up to the teacher to try to turn the pages for the storybook for her. :P

Art session was next; and I got to paint a chick yellow in colour. Well, it's not perfect but I got a more important task to look forward to...

PLAYGROUND TIME!

Yup, you just can't no to playground time, can you? Hahaha... And yes, kor-kor joined in the class as well. I listen story, he also listen story. I do painting, he also do painting. I had biscuits & Milo, he also had biscuits & Milo. Machiam like buy 1, get 1 Free offer hor? HAHAHAHA...

So when we went to the playground, kor-kor was only too elated to follow as well.

Of course we had loads of fun at the playground; especially kor-kor. 'Cos he can climb up and down and everywhere actually.

Then it was back to the classroom for a music'n'movement session. Ahhh... this is what I love the most! Dancing! This time, I no longer cared where Mummy or Daddy was standing liao... I just strutted my stuff to the rythmn of the music. Heh.

And kor-kor? He very good lah... he just kept sticking close to the teacher and imitating the dance actions. 100% Teacher's pet I tell you. :P

Then it was time to go home already... I can't wait for next week!

Happy Birthday Por-por!

No comments :
Today is Por-por's birthday and kor-kor & I specially got a cake for her to celebrate!

Well, actually it was kor-kor who chose the cake lah... I'm just in charge of eating. Hee hee...

Kor-kor wanted to take a photo with me and so he put his arm around my shoulder... but I tried to siam, 'cos itchy mah. :P

Anyway, at last the candles were lit and since I don't know how to sing the Birthday song yet, kor-kor took it upon himself to sing at the top of his voice.

Can you tell that I have the 'just-let-me-know-when-you-are-done-so-that-i can-eat-my cake' face? Hahaha...

Think kor-kor sang the song TWICE - the adults must really have loved his singing.

Then, it was time to blow the candles and once again, kor-kor was the quickest of the lot.

Cutting the cake meant another step closer to tasting the cake...hee hee...

But not before a mandatory group photo shot.

Oh, hurry up already! My spoon is already waiting in my hand impatiently.

Ah...finally! Pure bliss...

Hahaha... Then sneaky little me tried creeping up to kor-kor's plate to swipe his cake too. Who ask Daddy to give me a smaller piece... :P

Kor-kor asked for a second helping while I continued to enjoy my delicious mango cake, smearing the bottom half of my face with cream.

Soon we were done eating and boy, were we a pair of satisfied monkies! :)

Happy Birthday, Por-por!

Tai-por's Big Birthday

1 comment :
Yesterday, we went to Turf City for a seafood lunch to celebrate our tai-por's birthday.

There got so many big tanks full of fishes, crabs, clams, and frogs! I like watching the frogs best, but heng they never jumped out of the tank and onto my face. Hahaha...

Di-di fell asleep on the way to the restaurant though... which means all of us had a peaceful start to the lunch. Hee hee... He woke up midway, and I was done with my lunch already... so I could entertain him while the adults continued eating.

As with all babies, di-di was in a stupendously cheery mood after a nice nap. Think I didn't even have to entertain him in the first place lor...

See, give him one spoon can make him so happy liao. Hahaha...

As for me, well... it was time to put on funny monkie faces for the camera.

Then, it was time to cut tai-por's birthday cake! And before I can accomplish my goal of blowing the candle on the cake, I have to do certain standard stuff first.

Sing birthday song...

Pose for photo with tai-por...

Kiss tai-por...

And then, it was a big huff'n'puff BLOW! Oh, and helpful me had to assist to cut the cake too. :P

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Tai-por!!! MUACK!

Holiday & Eggs!

1 comment :
Pardon the lack of updates for the past week; Daddy was busy protecting the country the whole week. So anyway, lucky thing today is a public holiday! Can sleep late... yay!

Since Easter Sunday is coming, Daddy taught me how to make easter eggs!

First I used food colouring and water (you can add some oil too, to achieve a marbled effect) to fill up 4 bowls... my favourite colours at the moment - red, blue, green & yellow. Yes yes, I can't make up my mind. Heh.

Then I carefully placed the eggs into the coloured water bowls...

Daddy helped me to wipe the eggs dry... and TADAH!!!

My colourful Easter eggs! I love them so much you know... I insist to carry the plate of eggs whereever I go. Hahaha...

All in a morning's work! Enjoy your holiday! :)
