Sheep Shearing in a group!

No comments :
Sunday was Baby Zenith's first month bash, and I was already the eager big kor-kor-to-be, wanting to do everything from patting her to trying to carry her. Erm, of course the last bit still a no-no lah, but as you can tell, I can't wait to have a baby sis to call my own! :P

Anyway, the whole gang was there - Benji, Sarah, Clara & us the 2 monkies.

So in an attempt to keep all of us occupied (and out of trouble), Daddy brought along the 'Wild Wool' sheep game so that all of us could shear some sheep!

And boy, did we have fun! Now I think Daddy has to get the other Lego games too! Wahahaha...

Lego Games!

No comments :
Daddy found out about this new line of board games from Lego, and he was getting all excited about them! Well, for starters the games aren't the conventional board games.

We had to build up the play pieces from scratch (it's Lego after all), and then we can customise the rolling dice with different colour pieces to vary the playing rules. Sounds fun already! :)

And so for our first game from Lego, Daddy got us this Wild Wool game - one where we had to shear some sheep and keep them away from the big bad wolf!!! Yikes!

So we diligently went about constructing our sheep first... and tadah!

Really cute sheep they are huh... plus the menacing wolf in the background which is ready to pounce on our wool with a wrong throw of the dice!

The objective of the game is simple - to gather as much wool as possible from the pile of white bricks and fix it on our sheep. Once the wool has filled up our whole sheep, we can then shear it and store it away. But along the way, depending on the thrown dice, our sheep can be exchanged between players or worse, the wolf will be able to come and chew all our wool away. :P

And yes, we monkies loved the game lots!!! Hee.

Daddy's Birthday

1 comment :
Monday was Daddy's birthday, and di-di & I wanted to surprise him with a birthday cake... one which was specially chosen by us!

Erm... we presumed that Daddy loves Lightning McQueen... err, right? HAHAHAHAHAHA! :P

Well, at least di-di loved it!!! Hee hee...

ALL of us loved it in the end... maybe 'cos it was an ice cream cake! YUMM!!!

And we ended the celebrations by presenting Daddy our handmade cards...

As you can see, Daddy looks different in size through my and di-di's eyes! Hahahaha...

Cold Stuff

Cold things are meant to be shared.

'Cos if you don't, you'll get a brain freeze from all the ice cream!!!

Happy Birthday Daddy!!!

No comments :
Today's Daddy's special day, and so over the weekend Daddy's friends gave him a Birthday surprise!

Well, we actually met up at Brewerkz at the Indoor Stadium Waterfront to celebrate one of Daddy's & Mummy's friends, Aunty Mann's upcoming wedding. Yes, it was a child-friendly hen party. Hahaha...

Brandon & Kaylene were there to run amok with us as well, and thank goodness for the nearby waterfront space for us to while away the time while waiting for the food to be served! Hee.

We were utterly famished by the time the food arrived, and me think we smashed our personal records for the speed in which we devoured our dinner. :P

We needed to be fast, because we also had to strategise how best to bring out the secret birthday cake in order to completely surprise Daddy.

Maybe hiding it behind Uncle Ray will help???

In the end, all the meticulous planning came to naught... 'cos Brandon went up to Daddy and said, "Uncle Kelvin, we have a birthday cake for you, you know???" -_-"

Well, at least all of us got to sing the Birthday song in 3 languages and extinguish the candle flames! Hee hee...

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DADDY!!!

Hope you enjoyed the... erm, not-so-surprising surprise! :P

Long Weekend 2

No comments :
Last Saturday, or Day 2 of the long weekend, saw kor-kor & me heading down to the East Coast Beach for some serious sand play.

It was the perfect weather for sand, tan, and the sea - just right for nuah-ing the lazy day away. Hee hee...

And bet you can tell how happy and excited I was huh?

Hahaha... it had been a while since we last went to the beach, so you can't blame me for getting all to hyper. :P

And so while we began constructing our sandcastles, Daddy & Mummy just laid down on their mat under the comfy shade of the trees.

I was more of a hindrance than help to kor-kor's sandcastle building efforts - primarily 'cos I was more bent on destroying the structures. :P

So Daddy decided to play Frisbee with me instead. Hahaha.
..

I soon got tired after a while, perhaps due to the fact that Daddy always made me run so far away to pick up the Frisbee... so I decided to rest by getting all comfortable on TWO beach chairs.

Yup, I got REALLY comfy all right. Heh.

If only there was ice cream, then it would be PERFECT!

After sand, we decided to go for some speed instead... and so, off on our skate scooters we went!

We were coasting along just fine, until a girl wanted to befriend kor-kor and play together with him. And so, he ditched his scooter (and me!) and scooted off with the girl instead. Hmph.

But I didn't really mind lah... 'cos this meant I could have the 2 beach chairs all to myself again! :P

Long Weekend 1

No comments :
You know it is a long weekend when di-di & I get to go out all day, skip our afternoon naps and yes, have loads of fun!

We started out Friday morning by having a special treat - Breakfast at Macs, and on our skate scooters no less!

Hee hee... yup, we scooted all the way to Macs and all the way back home too. I'm getting pretty good at it, while di-di langar into a bush on the way home though. :P

But he is getting steadier with it... maybe he'll be able to catch up with me soon. Hahaha...

We stopped by the basketball courts where we could hone our scooting skills some more, and this usually means photos time as well!

I would have thought there would be lesser photos to be taken since Daddy didn't bring his camera along... but obviously I forgot about the iPhone lor. :P

The rest of the morning was spent playing with our toys at home... you know, sometimes di-di & I would rather stay at home to play than to go out. Hahaha! We played all the way to lunch time, which was quite late since we had a late breakfast... and it was Japanese Curry rice, the non-spicy kids version lah. :P

Then we headed our to Tai-por's house where we had an early Mooncake Festival gathering with Daddy's maternal relatives. YUP, MORE EATING!!!

That's a fair bit of eating in one day... but luckily for us, Daddy & Mummy promised to bring us to the beach the next day to sweat it all out! Woohoo!!!

Climbing Monkie

No comments :
Ok... as promised, Daddy has ceased to be lazy and uploaded the photos of me attempting the Action Adventure circuit at United Square onto the computer. Well, being naggy helps too me think. :P

Well, before we kids attempt any challenges, we were taught to go through a set of warm-up exercises to loosen those muscles.

Hmm... I think I must have the youngest in that group.

Before we scale the big giant wall, we were given a go at a shorter wall first - just to give us a feel of what it is like.

Then we were all geared up and ready to go!

A big kor-kor gave me final instructions while he strapped me onto the safety harness...

... and up I went the cargo netting!

It was relatively okay for me... maybe 'cos I loved climbing those netting structures at the playground. Hee.

Then next up was the biggie - the wall.

Initially I scurried up the wall pretty fast, but around the halfway mark, my arms began to tire liao and I lost my momentum. :P

Luckily the big kor-kor who was holding onto my safety harness was strong enough to slowly pull me up and slowly let me down again when I reached the summit. I need to build up more muscles! Hahaha...
