(And my birthday's coming really soon too!!! Hee hee... can't wait! :P)
No need to say, di-di was also very happy with the room...
And this was also when I learnt how to say the word 'co-co-nut'. Hahaha... at least it was educational! :P
Anyway, after we had a slight recharge in the room, we headed to - where else - the beach! And boy, was di-di dressed to the occasion. AND pumped up for it as well.
The fine sandy beach is accessible by foot or by this charming tram that runs down the hill from the hotel. This particular tram was probably one of the best highlights of my holiday. I LOVED sitting at the front of the tram, and being the driver and turning the steering wheel like I was driving a racing car. Hee.
And after each trip, I would point to the tram and screech at the top of my cute voice, "'gain!, 'gain!".
But never mind, there was the beautiful beach to look forward to. And wah, it was truly a captivating one. There was no loud music blaring, no hawkers selling useless stuff and no rows and rows of sun beds in sight. In other words, it was almost perfect. Lovely, secluded, really fine sand, blue sea. It's my kind of place man. Hee hee...
And so, I quickly found a spot on the beach to put my sand toys to good use.Daddy even took me for a little swim in the sea and I had a really good time kicking my legs silly in the water.
And so that concludes Day 1; I had so much fun out in the sun that I turned quite a lot darker after just one day! Ditto for di-di. Jialat lor... Ma-ma sure say how come I become so chao-tah wan... :P
2nd day was also, not surprisingly, to the beach. But before that, Daddy & Mummy decided to go to Phuket town for some shopping. And that usually means it was time for me and di-di to cacth up on some sleep. Hahaha... Aiyah, shopping is still boring stuff to me.
Then, we headed off to another new shopping centre - Central. Wah, this one is really a biggie... got so many shops. Anyway, what mattered to me was food lah and we had really yummy Japanese food there. And also, a very deliciously yummy sundae at Baskin Robbins!Ok, think I better stop here... it's getting late and I need to koon as I overheard Daddy saying that we are going for a Christmas Party tomorrow. YAY!
Check back soon yah? If not, my di-di will be really angry... HAHAHAHA!You'd betta come back ah...or else...
Usually, most people going to Phuket would flock to Patong Beach, or to a lesser extent, Karon & Kuta Beach, which are jam-packed with amenities and entertainment. But knowing Daddy, we of course had other ideas.
Daddy had done his homework and found out about this hotel called Cape Panwa on the south eastern tip of Phuket which had been described as a secret hideaway. Ooh... sounds shiok already. The journey from the airport to the hotel took about 45 minutes and I'm glad to say both di-di and I were pretty much well-behaved. (It's just the start of holiday mah... can't be too naughty. Yet.)
Soon we reached our paradise and first impressions? I just wanted to jump into the turquoise sea immediately! :)
The hotel is situated ontop of a hill, commanding panaromic views of the Andaman Sea. It certainly looks like a great place to nuah and most importantly, to put my sand toys to good use! Heh. Our room was superb; it was comfortably cosy with a large balcony overlooking the sea.See how enchanted I was with the view?
Di-di was luckier though; he got the best view in the room. 'Cos his cot was just right next to the balcony. Hahaha... That probably explains why I also spent most of time in his cot too. :P
Oops, have to cut short on my travel tales for now... Daddy gotta work. I'll be back to continue with my adventures really soon!
... and the sand & sea...
... oh, and not forgetting yummy food too! Haha...
See how di-di is absolutely estactic throughout the trip? Heh.
Of course he happy lah... every morning when we wake up, I'll read to him my story books you know. I think he enjoyed it lah... well, if he didn't understand any of it, he didn't show it.
:PAs usual, we tooks loads of photos and as usual, I've to let Daddy slowly sort them out and post them on my blog. Check back soon! :)
Apparently, the mall also had some children's show too; like the Barney show that I had watched last wednesday. Only thing is that I didn't recognise any of the characters leh. Daddy told me that they were the 'Little Robots' but I still blur lah. I only knew that I also wanted to watch them LIVE on stage too, 'cos I kept pointing to the empty stage and mouthing 'Robots' before the show. Hee hee...
So what's a Daddy got to do right? Hahaha... I got into the seating area, sat on Daddy's lap and clapped my way through the show. :)It was really a nice show, although I wasn't too familiar with the characters on stage. But as long as there are giant puppets moving, coupled with great music & dance moves, I'm sold liao. As the show wore on, I even stood up and started dancing & clapping to the music. I'm really starting to enjoy these kind of shows! Which is bad news for Daddy. HAHAHA...
Yea that was Daddy's expression when I expressed an intention to the watch the show again at 9pm! kekeke... but common sense prevailed in the end and we went home to rest for the night. :P
