Crabby outing

1 comment :
Today we went to makan dinner with Daddy's hall friends at this famous crab place at Ang Mo Kio. Luckily we got there early; if not I think I would have to stand in the queue like this for dunno how long...

Hahaha... actually I just happened to find this long stick when Daddy brought me for my after-dinner evening walk around the area (Read: I was unable to sit still after makan).

So I kept myself entertained by flinging the stick repeatedly up into the air. Too bad Baileys not around; he would have retrieved the stick for me if he was around.

And of course, it was rapid-fire photo taking time as well. Hee.

The adults reckoned that they still wanted to eat some more after dinner, so we all went to Haagen-Dazs to pile on some more calories. And I also got to try another Ashton's First - The Chocolate Fondue!

Wah, it was definitely very yummy; although I only just licked the chocolate. I full liao lah... hahaha.

SuperEater - That's me!

No comments :
The junior cheekiemonkie makes yet another appearance!

I've been growing really well - eating good, poopoo-ing good and also babbling good.

Speaking of makan, I have to admit that I am one very big eater! (Just like Daddy...hee hee)

I just got started on porridge 2 weeks back and boy, can I wallop one full bowl of porridge man!

Then after that, still got one bowl of blended fruits somemore... Shiok ah, I just open mouth can liao. Hahahaha...

And still not finished! 'Cos after that, still got my susu! No wonder I can poo so many times in a day. :P

Ma-ma said that I confirm eat more than kor-kor lah. Plus hor, my stomach seems to be better too wor. 'Cos when kor-kor eats too full sometimes, he very prone to imitate the Merlion. But me? I smarter - I keep my food inside me so that I don't have to sit still to be fed all over again! Wahaha...

Uneventful weekend

No comments :
*YAWN*

It was quite an uneventful past weekend. Other than my usual class, we also went to Ikea at Tampines for some Sunday breakfast. And ya, that was about it. Hahaha...

So I guess the highlight of the week was me enjoying the cosy comfort of a bed in the Ikea showroom. Hee.

Daddy promised di-di and me the zoo for next weekend though. YIPPEE!!!

Legends Resort

No comments :
Okay, this is way way way long overdue... but at least Daddy eventually managed to get his lazy bum off these photos... :P

Actually, di-di got his first stamp in his passport when we, together with Kong-kong & Por-por, headed to The Legends Resort in Kulai, Johor for a one night stay in October last year. Yea, so now you know how long Daddy sat on these photos right? Hee hee...

It was quite a short drive from Tuas checkpoint - about 45 minutes. And once we reached, di-di couldn't wait to try out the comfy bed!

Wah, di-di's face sure looks a bit different then compared to now. One thing's for sure - his face isn't so chubby anymore. Me? I think my hair was shorter then. Hahaha...

Anyway, being the little curious boy that I am, I also couldn't wait to get out and roam the resort's premises.

And to my utter delight, guess what I found?

A Playground!

There was a slide...

... and also a swing which I had a great time on it, 'cos Kong-kong kept pushing me.

There was also a see-saw, but I can't play that with Daddy lah. He so heavy; he'll just leave me high up in the air with my legs dangling helplessly. No fun one. :P

Soon it was time to makan, and we had our dinner at a restaurant nearby. And heng heng there was also a mini funfair nearby with all the colourful rides! Heh. So Kong-kong took me for a spin on the merry-go-round.

Next morning and di-di woke up with a beaming smile on his face.

Why ah? 'Cos we were going swimming! Of course I also happy lah...

It was di-di's first time going swimming though and I think he didn't knew what he was in for. Hahahaha... Guess he didn't really like the idea of swimming after all.

Me, on the other hand, was splashing around like nobody's business.

But soon, the inevitable had to happen. We had to check out liao. But not before taking a bath in our room's open-air bathroom! Shiok man... hee.

And in a relaxing end to a relaxing getaway, I fell asleep in the car ride back after that. Ditto for di-di. :)

Just some pictures of di-di

No comments :
As usual, it's the normal routine of shuttling between home and Ma-ma's & Ye-ye's house during the weekdays... so there isn't much to report.

So let us all make do with di-di's photos, who has just recently discovered the joys of sitting upright! :)

He's getting pretty good at it; able to support himself upright for a few minutes before he comes crashing down again. Then, being the ever helpful angel that I am, I'll always attempt to help him up again. But of course di-di is too heavy for me lah... Heh.

But there's one other thing that is still shying away from us - di-di's teeth. So far cannot see any yet leh... Mummy said last time when I was 7 months plus, I already got 2 liao.

Cari Nemo

1 comment :
Yesterday, Daddy & Mummy brought di-di and me to go cari (find) Nemo. We managed to track him down at the Indoor Stadium, where he was trying to learn ice-skating. :P

Hahaha... actually, it was the Disney On Ice - Finding Nemo show lah. I also love Nemo a lot a lot you know, 'cos I always watch the Nemo cartoon at Ma-ma's house. In fact I watched so many times until the disc is a little faulty liao. Really, I never bluff.

So anyway, it was a real treat for me to be able to see Nemo LIVE in the flesh, and I guess for di-di too lah; since he also accompanies me to watch the cartoon at Ma-ma's house too. Hee hee...

Oh, and I also got an extra special present from Daddy! A Nemo that can illuminate vibrantly at a touch of a button. And I've got to say, I love it to bits! :)

Soon the show started and I sat on Daddy's lap throughout the 1.5 hours show, enchanted by the skating fishes, colourful lights and dazzling footwork. Di-di, on the other hand, fell asleep after the first half of the show. :P

As you would have probably guessed, I didn't even moved an inch when the show was ongoing. And after every dance number, I would clap my hands loudly. I was definitely most mesmerized by the show and which probably explained why I looked like this when the show ended...

Hee hee... oh well, hope that Nemo comes back again!

Stubborn little mule

1 comment :
As I slowly come to terms with my own character as I grow up, a particular trait of mine has showed up rather glaringly.

I'm one stubborn little fella.

Sometimes when I do something wrong and Daddy or Mummy asks me to say sorry to them, I'll just refuse to do it.

Instead of mouthing 'Sorry Papa' or 'Sorry Mummy', I will say sorry to everything else in the whole wide world except them. Hahaha... So I'll just go "Sorry fish", "Sorry chair", "Sorry car"... you get the idea.

Then Daddy or Mummy starts ignoring me lor... and that's when I'll just slowly walk up to them and gently tug at their shorts and say "Sorry Papa" or "Sorry Mummy". Hee hee... Yep, I eat soft, don't eat hard wan.

Anyway, on a happier note, I've got a current fave - my new newsboy cap!

I love wearing it whenever I go out now; erm, on the condition that di-di must wear his cap too. If he doesn't wear his, I wouldn't wear mine too. Yah yah, me a copycat. :P

Party at a Birthday

No comments :
Morning today was the usual stuff - school. But after that, we were off to a birthday party! It was the first birthday of Rae Ann, daughter of one of Daddy's friends.

But I didn't manage to take any photos with her lah; 'cos I was busy eyeing her cake. Hahaha... I did take some photos with my friend, Brandon though.

Although I ws a bit distracted by my lollipop. :P

New School Term

No comments :
Saturday was the start of a brand new school term at Growing Up Gifted for me. Daddy & Mummy had decided to sign me up for the once a week lessons after seeing me laze my bum around the house every Saturday morning. :P

Like the last trial lesson I had there, I thoroughly enjoyed the lesson. I especially adored the dancing and singing session the most; shaking my body like a polaroid picture.

Then it was home for some rest, but not before catching my favourite Barney show with di-di! Hee hee...

And of course, hamming it up for the camera... all for Daddy's sake.

We also went for yummy Japanese buffet dinner with Daddy's hall friends in the evening but no pictures to show lah. 'Cos Daddy was busy stuffing his mouth with all the sashimi he could lay his hands on. I too was busy eating, since I dine for free. Hahahaha... I walloped 1 and a half bowls of chawanmushi (among other things) all by myself. :)

Making musik

No comments :
Daddy's got a free trial voucher for a Kindermusik lesson at Babies Inc. Since it's not good to be wasteful, I thought I had better utilise it. :P

Overall, it was quit a good session; lots of action and moving around which is good for me. 'Cos you know lah, I've got the antsinmypantsilitis syndrome. So imagine my delight when I saw the outdoor masak-masak when I was done with my class...

Yep, a toy car would never go wrong for me. I just love to drive inside one!

I think I spent quite a long time playing with the car... lucky the teachers there never chase me away. Hee hee...

Daddy also told me that I'm starting a new class session this Saturday morning and frankly, I can't wait! :)
